St. Joseph Weathered Patina Finish Side Chairs (Set of 2)

These chairs are beautiful! They are clearly made of solid wood. The pair arrived in one large, rectangular  shaped box. The corners were a little beat up, but contents were in perfect condition. The chairs look almost exactly like the picture, only there is some variation in the hue. For example, the front legs on one chair appear more white washed, if you will, which I quite like. After searching at several stores, I found nothing that compared to these. I was a little apprehensive because our table is mango wood with more of a cherry stain, but with the right curtains and wall decor, our dining area will be stunning. The chairs require attaching seat to the back of chair and then the front legs. Took my husband about 10 minutes to put the second one together. The linen cushions are very firm, taut, not soft, and look and feel as though any spills would be easy to clean up. The seat backs are a nice height. Lumbar support is good, too. We are 5'8 and 5'11 and both of us feel comfortable sitting in them. The seat bottoms extend to about an inch or two behind our knees, so there's pretty good thigh support. We'll be ordering two more side chairs and a pair of the St Joseph arm chairs.
