Surprised by the quality of fabric, nice heavy weight. White on white design not at all like swiss dot but very attractive. Did not wash yet, but hope not too wrinkled after light drying in dryer. Size exactly as stated. Also purchased another Duvet with white on white leaf design witch is very similar and of same quality and appeal. Very good value.
The fabric is nice and soft. It is a tone-on-tone pattern of small squares. I ordered the white in a king size for our guest bedroom and it fits the bed fine. I also ordered a comforter the same size as the duvet and it is a perfect fit. I used duvet clips in order to keep everything from shifting around too much. Very good product for the price. It has not been washed yet, so cannot comment.
I am very pleased with this duvet set. Thread count makes a big difference in softness, though. My old duvet set was 500 thread count and was much softer feeling, but this one still feels like good quality fabric. It is well constructed and washes well, and the swiss dot pattern really makes it look nice.
It's true that this duvet is not a "Swiss Dot" patttern, it's a tone on tone pattern of small squares (which I much prefer!) People typically think of a swiss dot as a raised soft round bump - this is much better. The fabric is excellent quality and it fit my queen bed perfectly. The shams are well made and large enough for slightly oversized pillows so the flap in the back does not pull - very very lux! Great quality for the price - has a very high-end look. I highly recommend this set.
