Square Sail Sun Shade

It is what I have expected it to be, but the price is so affordable because of the discount that I'm planning to buy more and add to my series of square and triangular sails. My friend saw it and was impressed with it, and i really have recommended it to him.

I have a large pergola over my patio and needed something for shade as the patio gets full sun most of the day. I have a lot of flower baskets hung on the pergola so I didn't want a solid roof, also would make house too dark. Then I saw the sails and bought 4 to cover my pergola! I love them! It is now shady on the patio and cooler, my plants love them and don't get beat up from our thundering rain storms--the rain filters through softly!! Since I used four and overlapped them a little they were harder to put up then just one would be but all in all these things are awesome!

I bought one of these for a patio by the pool that gets a lot of sun and was pretty much unusable during the afternoon. The shade has made a huge difference and I can now use this patio all day long. The shade is nice looking and fits perfectly over the "living" area of the patio. I did not have to use the provided hardware as there is an arbor over the patio so I just secured the sail to the structure. The shade appears to be well-constructed and sturdy but I have only had it a few weeks so it is too early for me to judge on durability, although it looks like it will last (which is why I am giving it 4 stars for durability). I like it so much that I ordered a second one to go over the "dining" section of the same patio. I have received many compliments on them. The only thing I regret is that it is not water resistant at all; even light rain will go right through it so I still need to remove cushions, etc. when it rains. But overall I think it's a great product.

So far I like the quality and how well it holds up. I have had it only 3 weeks. My deck is a bit short on width so I make sure the hooks hit the same post as we found it stretches and holds it's stretch. We built a deck on the south side of the house and never used it as it was too hot to walk on. We're on it every night now if the bugs aren't bad. I also like that it is simple to take down and I can do it myself. Other reviews mentioned it held during a good wind and I would like to see it but can't seem to leave it up if I know it's going to blow.
