warning... bed rail issue on this one
This is a nice, attractive bed; BUT comes with terrible rails! They are not trundle rails!!! The rails have no slats, and no wiring/netting and the sides are shallow, so you are forced to use it as a box and mattress bed, not a trundle or not for extra storage as we were going to do. It also has little metal "feet" attached to the rails that are shorter than the bed so you have to use the plastic cones it comes with to fix that issue. You don't need or want the "feet." It's in the way of the storage and would be in the way if you had a trundle bed.

springhill burnt red bed
Bed was very attractive but was advertised as able to have a trundle bed underneath. This was fairly impossible as the metal slats had a 4 corner protrusion underneath making the trundle unable to be pushed under the frame. Still the bed is very cute and I am using it a single bed instead of a combo trundle bed.

Great value
Bed arrived quickly. Had a little chip out of one of the posts, but wasn't worth the trouble of sending it back. After shopping around, it's a great price for a trundle bed. Doesn't come w/the trundle, but I already had one to put with it & it works great for when we have guests over & need a king size bed instead of twin. It was very easy to put together. My son loves his new bed, & I love the price!

Not at all what I was looking for
I was looking for a true trundel bed and this is not it. It wouldnt stay tight at the bolts. Had to keep tighting it up after the it was slept on.

Great bed for the price
For the price, there is no better bed. It needs to be assembled on the lowest setting to make sure that it is at it's sturdiest, which means a box springs is a must. We've loved it and had absolutely no problems with it. All who've come and seen our new bed have been amazed at the price!

Read reviews before you buy!
Well, overall the bed is really nice. But.... the reviews are right. The bed is not worth the hassle if you need it as a trundle. The frame it comes with is useless as it will NOT accomodate a trundle due to a very odd and poor design. The bed itself is really nice and the paint job is great. I had to go and buy a trundle wire frame (forgot exactly the name of it) for 2 reasons:1 the existing frame that comes with the bed from O is a very odd size 79 inches I think and normal mattresses are about 75 or 76 with the xtra long ones at about 80 inches. #2 - the frame it comes with has iron pieces on the side that would have to be hacksawed off to use as a trundle. The bed itself is nice... but be warned you need to invest about 60 - 70 dollars for a new wire frame to use as a trundle and to use with a "normal" size mattress. Hope this helps!

Overall, it's a great bed.
The only downfall of this bed is that there is no center bar on the frame to hold the mattress up, we had to go a box springs for our son to be able to sleep in it. Other than that, it is great. The color is really nice and the bed came in great shape.

The springhill twin size bed looks great and was easy to assemble. It arrived within a few days of purchase. We saved about 200 dollars from any other internet source for the same bed!
