I was nervous about ordering these chairs without having seen any reviews, but I'm happy with them. The color of the wood is true to the photo (I would call it a medium espresso) but the fabric color is slightly darker than pictured (more of a khaki beige). The chairs seem sturdy so far. One caveat for anyone who doesn't like to assemble furniture - it took my engineer husband at least six hours to put eight of them together. The suede fabric also has a strong smell, but I'm hoping that will wear off soon.
I'm not impressed with the chairs at all. They are cheap and definately not worth the price. Color was darker than picture, but based on other reviews, that's what I expected. I like the color, but the padding on the chair is thin. Not what I was expecting for the price. I would recommend to move on and don't buy..
As another reviewer said, the Spring Light Cocoa Tall Back Chairs (2) are much darker than the picture shows. Yes, it says they are a light cocoa, but I would also call them a khaki color. The directions are not the best, but once you do one chair, you learn quickly that the velcro goes on the bottom! (You'll see what I mean when you buy them. Haha!) It wasn't too hard to put them together but you will need a Phillips head screwdriver which is not mentioned on the directions. While I was hoping I would use these for my dining room, because of the darker color, I may just use them in my basement dining area. I only ordered one pair just in case I wasn't sure if I'd like them, and I'm glad i did. I needed three sets, but I'll only buy one more for the other location where I plan to use them. They will look nice wherever they go, but I was really hoping for a lighter color. That is my only complaint. You will feel pretty proud of yourself once you put them together! They go nicely with the Sorrento table. You can easily fit six chairs with the table.
