I am happy with this purchase, but was hoping to find a smaller version that would hold shrimp like a skewer does. But we will have lots of uses for this, such as vegetables, etc.

This was a gift for my nephew who does a lot of grilling but isn't particularly interested in vegetables. He was very excited about how well this worked out to grill marinated vegetables and got him to try new ones.

It is very clumsey to work with. The wood handle burns if you close the grill cover. You can't adjust the depth of the basket so it's hard to neatly turn food......for example if you're grilling shrimp. It's difficult to clean, but it rusts if you put it in the dishwasher. Overall the quality is pretty good, but the design leaves a lot to be desired. It would probably work good on a camp fire or camping stove.

Makes grilling vegetables a breeze. The openings are small so even little vegetable pieces stay in — just need to be careful with things that thin further after cooking, like onion slices. Makes flipping veggies easy — just flip the basket over — and it holds an awful lot. Very please overall. Far easier than skewers or a grill pan.

Ordered this for A Christmas present, and my husband liked it so much I am going to order him one for Valentines Day! Best basket for small items (shrimp, onions, peppers, etc) and the holes are def. small enough that no food will be lost on the grill!

Sent to a friend, based on my usage. He loves it. Big advantage is that it is cross-hatched, not just ribs in one direction--you can grill smaller items, like shrimp, without them falling out into the fire! We are happy, year-round grillers!

The product consists of two interlocking baskets, each with a handle that come together when the baskets are closed and held together by a ring that slides over the two handles. We loaded the basket with shrimp, peppers, onions, garlic. The design allowed us to easily cook on one side, then flip it over, and cook from the other side. It was just what my husband wanted and he told me to say that he really likes it. It has a nice solid, durable feel to it. Be careful of the ring that holds the handles together. If you let the ring slide away from the baskets when flipping, the baskets will open and spill your food onto the barbecue grill. Husband made that mistake one time and is now careful to make sure the ring stays close to the baskets. Not a problem and we've had great bbq dinners with it.

A convenient way to grill veggies. Roomy basket. I wash it in the dishwasher.

We just BBQ'd on our gas grill with this Sportman Series AA-Purpose Grill Shaker basket. Grilled our Zuchini, onions, green peppers to perfection. Shaking or turn the whole basket is so easy. All the vegetables grilled so evenly, no sticking, burning, and the basket is almost clean after with only needing a rinse really. I would recommend this Grill Shaker basket to anyone, especially any BBQ grill lover. We can't wait to take it camping with us. We are really glad we bought it, and what a value for the money. You can't go wrong.

Very sturdy and great that it's non-stick. Great value compared to others I have seen. I liked that the grid pattern was close together to keep things in. Slightly larger openings on the corners, but still worked great. If you turn the basket upside down you can close the grill lid completely with only the handle sticking out. I used it for vegetables and it is much easier than putting them on the skewers. After using it I turned around and bought two more for gifts.

I tried to grill scalopps ....well well what a mess. Is very hard to clean and is very sticky.

All I can say if you own a grill or like to cook outdoors as much as I do then you really have to get one! Best shaker I ever used and I have used many ones that cost much more. Can't go wrong with this one.... may want to get two?

I started looking for a grill basket because I hoped to duplicate an edamame recipe I'd come to love. The only thing the originating restaurant would tell me was that the pods needed to be grilled over an open flame. If you know edamame, you realize how difficult that seems. I found this basked on Overstock, after checking all the hardware stores in my area, AND checking all the available baskets online. The price at Overstock was so much better than anywhere else, I decided to buy it. As it turned out, this grill basket is just what I was looking for. It is sturdy, easy to handle, (although a tad heavy,) and it does exactly what I need it to do. It allows me to get those wonderful grill marks and smoky flavors into any items I choose. The basket is easy to use, easy to shake, and it makes getting the food evenly grilled a breeze. The amazing thing is that I can use this basket over the gas burner on my stove and the food is still perfect. The non stick construction of the basket makes clean up a non issue. Great product.

Looks nice, easy to use. Didn't think about the handle, can't close the grill when in use because the handle sticks out, but that was my own fault. Otherwise, great product!

I bought two of these for gifts. Great price and with the Father's Day special shipping I was able to afford more than I thought I could. Service was very good. All around good transaction.
