sent this as a wedding gift and my recipient was so enthralled she forgave it for being late, my fault -not Overstock! will fit any occasion whether glamorous or just the two of them. Best price found, and excellent delivery service with tracking. Would definately recommend for an 'Heirloom gift'.

When the Overstock package arrived I couldn't wait to get it open. when I saw the actual flatware I decided to wait for my husband! this set is Continental size- large... but once I held a piece in my hand I knew we had made the right choice. I like heavier flatware, and this is perfect. My daughters (14 and 10) didn't care for the online picture for the Blueroom set. when it arrived they decided that we had made a good decision. We purchased the Blueroom to replace a set that we'd had for 20 years and lost in a fire. We bought 2 sets originally, and are thinking about getting a third.

I love this set! It is definitely quality flatware that makes me NEVER want to go back to the cheapy stuff again. I did a lot of research on how to choose good flatware and contemplated what to buy for about a week. I am sooo happy I did and so happy I chose this set. We use it for everyday, which felt weird at first, but we've gotten used to. Now if I can just keep my kids from taking it out of the house or turning the disposal on it. ;-)

Bought this for a Christmas gift. Did take one piece out of the box to check the quality. Quality appears good. Nice weight, nice size, well balanced, feels good when holding it. Well finished on flip side. Have to wait for Christmas to see how it will hold up under washing and usage, but expect good results. So, so far I really am pleased w/ my purchase.

I had been looking for an 18/10 stainless steel flatware set at a very reasonable price for a very long time. This product has it all -- design, weight, and the shine. This is a very elegant set for formal use or casual use. I love it. I have had it for 2-3 weeks now and it still shines like new. I had seen dinnerware by this manufacturer but this is the first time I have purchased their flatware set. It meets well beyond my expectations.

This is a very high quality set made of 18/10 stainless which luckily is a closeout because Spode dropped the flatware line. At the price I got it at Overstock I could never duplicate the set with another brand. This is a great set to buy.

Had been shopping for new flatware on Amazon for a while and came across this Spode set. I was looking for reviews on the set and found it on Overstock for half the price that Amazon had it for. Decided to order two sets at the Overstock price, which was WAY cheaper than one set, plus setting for 4 on Amazon. They arrived quickly and in perfect condition. The flatware is great. It is heavy and the finish looks spectacular. Wife loves the set too.

I have blue and white Spode dishes and the Spode Blueroom 45-piece flatware set goes beautifully with it. I love the weight (heavy), the European size (big), and the shine (almost as good as my silver). I love it for every day use and even for dinner guests. I LOVE IT!

A great 18th Century design for today -- to go with all other Spode Blueroom china but looks just as great with other transferware old and new and with a strikingly simple china. Get this discontinued design and Spode flatware now because once it is sold out that is that! LOVE MINE!

This flatware set is exactly as depicted in the photo. It is heavy and a little larger than most sets you find in stores. It can be used everyday as it is made from stainless steel, but is quite elegant for special occasions too. The serving pieces really made this a great deal. The price was much less than any I had found online, or in stores, and I was so pleased with the first set that I bought another! Delivery was fast and well packaged. I would definitiely recommend this purchase.

I bought this set because it stands out from the usual flatware patterns. Its elegant without being gaudy and very solid and well-made. Unlike the other reviewer, I do not think it is overly large. It is the continental size, which is slightly bigger, but not by much. I researched and examined all different brands and designs and I think this is one of the prettiest I have seen. Makes a nice gift too.

This flatware is a treasure. I purchased it to use for everyday, but, due to its phenomenal quality and beauty, I have put it away to use for special occasions. It exceeded my wildest expectations and the price was extraordinary. Absolutely elegant, gorgeous and of consummate quality.

I liked the quality but not the design. Looked very nice in picture. When received, I found handles way out of proportion. Returned my set on my own expense. I would not recommend this product unless you want it to be the topic of your conversation.

This is the first set of flatware I have purchased in more than 20 years, and I couldn't be more pleased! I also have several Spode Blue Room dinner plates, so when I saw that the flatware coordinated with the plates, I had to buy the set. The weight of the pieces is just right, and the detail is exquisite. The 5-piece hostess set is an added value also. Thanks Overstock for an awesome deal!
