This was an interesting surprise. Opened the box to find the mattress was tightly rolled in plastic. I slit the plastic wrap and it unrolled right onto the bed frame. No odor like other foam mattresses. I like the feel of the mattress. Very comfortable memory foam. Used as bunk bed mattresses in a guest room. Very happy with this mattress and would recommend highly.Read More
Not only is it not a “mattress” it is only a piece of foam rubber (very good quality foam rubber) and it is not the size of a XL twin, the only accurate thing was that it is 6" thick - and impossible to get back in the box it came out of. It was obliviously packaged by machine. After I finally got it into a slightly larger box for return I felt like I had ridden the bull at a rodeo! I bought rope simply to pull it back together with and tighten up. If you are not ABSOLUTLLY sure you want this DO NOT OPEN IT!Read More
This is a very comfortable and durable mattress. Don't let the quality fool you. We've had it for a year so far and it is just as sturdy as my son's old standard mattress.Read More
I purchased this mattress for my college-aged son's room. He has used it several times when he has been home and finds it very comfortable. I slept on it once and also found it to be very comfortable.Read More
Excellent product. Came in record time. I am very pleased.Read More
I bought this for my guest room trundle bed. I was expecting a firmer foam matress and was surprised at how plush this mattress actually was. I am very pleased with this purchase. I have a 16" memory foam mattress I purchased from Costco and would say that this 6" mattress is just as comfy and feels exactly the same just in a more petite version. Would purchase again.Read More
I was looking to replace an extra long twin mattress for a trundle bed. I needed the mattress to be no more than 6 inches high. This one fit the bill. The mattress arrived quickly and boxed. Once opened the mattress truly expanded to the size as indicated. I could have used an extra 2 inches on the length to accommodate the true size of my bed, but once I added sheets, blanket, etc. this was fine. I would recommend this mattress if you need a low profile extra long twin. This would be great to take to school to be used in the dorm. Very comfortable.Read More
love the product; will definitely think about replacing my other mattresses with a memory foam mattress.Read More
bought 2 for my guest room. my 6 ft. kids love them!Read More
This mattress came tightly rolled and expanded once opened. It is thinner than described, but still a very comfortable mattress to lie on. I bought it for a spare bedroom and we actually built a wooden frame just for it. I slept on it the first night and was impressed with the good night's sleep I got. I've had my husband and daughter try it out and we all think it is firm, but comfortable with a pillow or two under your head. I would recommend to a friend. Glad I bought it.Read More

How to Know When to Buy a New Mattress
Getting a good night's sleep on a quality mattress is important if you want to function at an optimal level throughout the day. When in good condition, mattresses provide support and comfort. As they start to wear, however, their level of support decreases, and they become more and more uncomfortable. This results in a variety of problems, from sleep loss to daily aches and pains. To prevent problems, it is imperative to replace mattresses when they age. Look below to learn how to know when to buy a new mattress.
Best Mattresses for Every Sleeping Position
A mattress is one of the most important purchases you can make because you spend hours each day sleeping and rejuvenating for the next day. While shopping for a new mattress, keep in mind the typical sleeping positions you have to ensure you will find the right mattress to help with bone or joint alignment. Below, you'll learn the best mattresses for every sleeping position. Sleeping on your back: If you primarily sleep on your back, you need to find a mattress with support to prevent pain in the lower back. Sleeping on a mattress that does not have enough support causes muscle strain in the back and increases the chance you will assume a poor posture during sleep, leaving you achy in the morning. The best mattresses for this sleeping position have at least 400 to 800 14-gauge coils. Innerspring mattresses feature firm coils to support the back yet still mold to the curvature of the spine. Mattresses with box springs are ideal for those who sleep on their backs because they stabilize weight, offering back support and increasing the life of the bedding. Sleeping on your stomach: While sleeping on your stomach is comfortable, it also increases pressure and strain on parts of the body like the neck or back. Soft mattresses are the best for those who sleep on their stomachs. Look for mattresses that have 300 to 400 14-gauge coils, which will ensure the mattress is soft and comfortable. If you must use a pillow, look into buying a memory foam style, which molds to the head and neck to stabilize them during sleep. Sleeping on your side: Side sleeping is one of the most common positions on a mattress, and it may also be one of the hardest positions to shop for. Since you lay on your side, there is pressure on the shoulders and hips, which could make a firm mattress uncomfortable for sleeping. A mattress that is too soft is often not supportive enough to keep the spine in proper alignment. The ideal mattress for this position is one that has supportive coils, with a memory foam topper to provide comfort to the joints of the body. Best Reasons to Buy Firm Baby Crib Mattresses
When you're shopping for baby crib mattresses, safety should always come first. A soft mattress may make sleeping more comfortable for you, but the same could be hazardous, even deadly, for your infant. Baby crib mattresses should be firm -- as firm as possible -- to keep your little one safe during the night or daytime naps. You may be tempted towards the soft baby crib mattresses for your child, thinking that he'll be more comfortable. Babies, however, don't need the same joint support as adults, but they do need baby crib mattresses that reduce the risk of harm from their baby furniture while they sleep. There are many reasons to buy a firm baby mattress, and the following tips can help you determine what to look for.
How to Choose Sheets for an Inflatable Mattress
An inflatable mattress is indispensible as extra bedroom furniture when you have houseguests or as a comfortable resting place when you're enjoying the great outdoors (from the safety of a tent). To make your air bed even more appealing, make sure you treat it like a regular bed; an inflatable mattress will benefit from luxurious sheets as much as any other mattress. Choose the right sheets for your bedroom furniture and treat your guests to an inflatable mattress experience they'll never forget.
Memory Foam Bed FAQs
Anyone who is looking for the ultimate in sleeping comfort will be hard pressed to find an option better than a memory foam bed. Getting a full night's sleep depends a lot on the support of your mattress, and memory foam mattresses offer luxurious, modern comfort. You may have questions about this material, as many people shopping for memory foam do. Here are the answers to some frequently asked questions about memory foam beds, so you can shop for your new mattress with confidence.
Best Pillow-top Mattresses for Back Pain
The key to a good night's sleep when you have chronic back pain is as simple as choosing a good pillow-top mattress. Choosing the best mattress involves knowledge of your personal needs and preferences. To get a comfortable night's sleep, start by choosing a pillow-top mattress made from the right materials for you. Next, choose your preferred thickness. Finally, have firm sleep support underneath the cushions of the pillow-top. Below, you'll learn the best pillow-top mattresses for back pain. Choose the materials: Pillow-top mattresses are made from a variety of materials, so choosing the one that is right for you can make all the difference in the world. People with muscle pain should consider down pillow-top mattresses, which provide a cocoon to sleep in. Those with back issues will generally prefer memory foam pillow-top mattresses, which conform to the body and offer consistent support to areas like the lower back. However, it is important to check the manufacturer's information regarding the recommended weight allowances for these types of pillow-tops. Consumers who are heavier than the recommendations may find that the pillow-top cushion compresses in uncomfortable ways, leaving the mattress lumpy. Determine the thickness: Pillow-top mattresses come in a variety of thicknesses, from just 2 inches to 8 or more inches deep. Like choosing the right materials for your pillow-top, choosing the right depth is vital to getting a good night's sleep. Thinner pillow-top mattresses will allow more of the support from the remainder of the mattress to come through and will not develop body indentations as pronounced as those in a deep pillow-top. Pillow-top mattresses that are too soft may fail to provide back support and cause an increase in back pain. However, deep pillow-top mattresses are excellent for customers who suffer from fibromyalgia or other chronic pain. Check the warranty: Just as you would with any other purchases of its size, check the warranty of your pillow-top mattress. Most manufacturers will provide limited, pro-rated replacement warranties for manufacturer's defects, and some will provide a "comfort guarantee." Others may have specific conditions that must be met in order to maintain the warranty, such as having a boxed spring by the same manufacturer. Take note of any special conditions for the warranty and keep the paperwork. View All Mattresses Back to Guides Directory View All Mattresses
