My daugther purchased two rockers for my new porch. I assembled only one and when I put in the last screw for the arm rest, the wood split in half. The rocker was not sturdy at all, finish was terrible, and overall not worth the money. Sending both back without even checking out the second rocker

I purchased four spindle rockers--did a lot of research and this was BY FAR the best value online I could find anywhere, especially with the cheap shipping price. I was able to put 3 of the 4 rockers together myself (ladies, do NOT be intimidated--very easy if you read the directions and have faith in your ability!) in about 20 minutes each, but BEWARE one of the 4 had holes incorrectly drilled in the rocker part so I ended up just tossing them and making it into a regular chair......I had seen this comment from others before ordering so took my chances. Even with the problem these chairs are a great deal (I ended up having to order pink because red was sold out a long time ago but as it turns out the pink is lovely and definitely worth the money).

The first time I sat in it it cracked in one of the seat supports. When I sat in it again it cracked even more leaving a rough edge that is almost broken completely through. I am a very petite person so weight is definitely not the issue. Also one of the back slats is too short and does not fit securely and thus is loose and sloppy shows where part of the slat is not painted. I am very disappointed. It would be beautiful if it was a quality piece of furniture.

The chair arrived two weeks ago with a dent in lower horizontal back support that I decided I could live with even though it's in the front and visible. My husband put the chair together, placed in on the porch and I sat on it for a few minutes. I stood up and a piece came out of one of the slats on the front of the seat. "I can hide that with paint," I thought. Still no problem. Two days ago on a lovely Satuday I decided to take a break from housework and go sit on my new chair. I looked at it and noticed that the paint is flaking off the entire chair--and I do mean ENTIRE! I've notified Overstock about a return, I definitely don't want a replacement.

These are adorable but when we put them together...1 of the legs was split. overstock is sending out a new piece but they're glued..So I don't know hiow this is going to turn out.

I ordered 2 of these in black.. I hope they get them back again as I would like 2 more for my front Porch..I see they only have pink right now..I will keep checking back..They arrived in a short amount of time..My husband put them together with no problems..One thing I would mention is to have some wood glue on hand to use as you are assembling it..They did include some glue but it is not enough.. he said the wood glue is easier to use.and works fine.. These are nice good sized rockers..My husband is 6' 4' and they are comforable enough for him..I think they can't be beat for the size..the looks ..the price you pay.. Some of the rockers you see in the stores could be on sale for the same price maybe..but are usually much smaller....These are nice sized......As some people mentioned there were a few little paint chips..nothing that a marker couldn't fix..all in all I am very pleased with these and will get a couple of more if they get them back in the black..The only reason I didn't put 4 stars for durability is because we have only had them a couple of weeks..so I can't speak as to how they will hold up in the long term..All I can say is I am very happy with them..I would not hesitate to purchase if you are considering them.

The rocking chairs were easy to put together and look good on our porch. We bought black ones and there are SEVERAL areas where the black paint was already chipped off and white beneath showing through (I guess they all start as white and are painted???). That's kind of annoying, but otherwise, they are comfortable and were easy to put together.

I ordered two rockers - a pink and green for my family room. They were easy to assemble and were bigger than I had envisioned when I ordered - a nice suprise. They are very durable and a great addition!

This chair looks good but kinda flimsy. Also didn't know about the low weight feature until I bought it. So if anyone over 200 pounds sits on it--it's toast. I glued it together with carpenters glue instead of what you sent..hope it will keep it together.

arrived in excellent condition, all pieces and hardwares neatly and safely packed. delivered in just a few days. took my sister and myself about 15 minutes to put together without reading the instructions and no power screw driver! we both work in the medical field, nowhere near construction of anything, but I admit, we both have common sense! we had a little difficulty with putting the last piece, the seat, it did not have the holes for the screws. the painting is excellent, but the finish is not exactly smooth. for a low cost product, this rocking chair is excellent.

I haven't found a cheaper rocker online, and this one rocks smoothly and quietly onmy hardwood floors. It was pretty easy to put together (although the instructions are oddly in paragraph form) and with some cushions it's a fun rocker. I had to purchase it for my father who was visiting and always has a rocker and he had no complaints.

They were very easy to assemble and they look great! We need to glue in the spindles so they don't rattle, but other than that, love 'em!!

I searched for many months for two black rockers for my front porch. I could have spent upwards of 250.00 a piece for teak rockers but I do not have that kind of money to shell out. I was very happy with the size of the rockers yes they are nice and roomy, the shipping was quick and the boxes weren't damaged when they arrived. However, the construction is about what I expected for the price. I spent more time covering the imperfections in the paint with a black sharpie pen then I did putting it together. These are outside rockers, so they have gotten a little rain on them, I am careful to move them as far away from the weather as possible, but, now the flat arms have cracks in them, these are not weather resistant. I will have to take the chairs and have the arms sanded down and repaired as the paint has cracked and i'm afraid the wood will split as well. These chairs will have to have some kind of protectant applied to them to prevent any further damage. They will be covered, but this should not have happened in my opinion. While I will say they are comfortable and great looking I don't know how long they will last.

Bought these to put on a wrap-around porch of a Bed & Breakfast. They look as perfect as I hoped and are much sturdier than I anticipated. Should be good for years of use by guests and family alike.

The chair is ok but didn't blow me away - I had comparison shopped and for the money, I saw others of equal or better quality than what I got with this chair. Maybe my hopes were too high because I was absolutely thrilled with my only other overstock.com purchase. I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to paint it within the next year or so which is disappointing. It assembled well, all the hardware was included, and everything fit. One of the seat slats had a small crack which obviously happened during fabrication as opposed to during shipping. The shipping box was great and absorbed a pounding during shipping without any damage to the chair.
