they're nice yet very thin & fragile. in the long run, they'll stain from cabs or other reds

These glasses are truly beautiful. After reading other reviewers and seeing the price, I was really expecting a much thicker set of glasses. These are still very nice quality and truly near top of the line. However, I have seen glasses that are much heavier than these and very good quality as well. I kept the glasses but I am wondering if I could have purchased a nicer set for the same price at ***.

These are beautiful - they were packed well - 2 in a box and then those boxes packed in a larger box. None were broken. They are great. I have washed them in the dishwasher and they are fine.

If you break wine glasses or have guests who do, get this glasses ASAP! They can take the dishwasher without etching as well. Great size for red wine. I love them. I hope O never stops selling these glasses!

I was amazed at the quality of these glasses for the price. The glass is delicate, yet sturdy. They are the perfect size for a bold red wine. They are a great value for the price. I would highly recommend these wine glasses to any wine connoisseur.

These are very generously sized glasses, and make for an elegant and fragrant presentation. We bought these glasses about a week after buying the Vino Red set. The Bordeaux glasses are significantly bigger, which makes them a little less flexible - we wouldn't serve whites in these, whereas we can use the Vino Red glasses for whites in a pinch. The Bordeaux glasses look great at the table, and enhance whichever red you fill them with.

Lovely high quality glasses nearly idential to the Riedel glass I have that cost twice the amount.

I know it's meant for bordeax but i've already enjoyed brunello's, and super tuscans in these beautiful stems. well made . Bowl is not necessarily round and generous but perfect. I've enjoyed Spiegelaus for many years and quality is excellent. Like most wine glasses, they are delicate so i wouldn't put them in the dishwasher

I am definitely not a wine expert, though I enjoy my glass. I was surprised that they are this large-- the bowl and general size--but my husband is very happy with the purchase and while not a wine expert either, he immediately enjoyed the opportunity take in the wine's bouquet fully before drinking it in. Someday? Crystal.

These are quality wine glasses, perfect for enjoying and appreciating your fine red wines! Highly recommend, especially if you have older vintages that need a little breather, these glasses will open up the wonderful aromas and smooth textures.

You can beat these for the price!...Size is perfect...you can fit your hand in them to wash...and the stems aren't too long so they are more stable...Ring nicely when tapped...They have the Spiegelau hallmark on the base...would definitely buy them again.
