  this was a gift for a family member, moving to a first rental. They seem to be pleased with the set, and like the colors. When I did an online search for the Sango brand items I expected this set was not made in China. (I am concerned with lead in the paint/glaze and wanted to be certain these were safe to use in a microwave, etc) but when the package arrived, well-packed of course, and swift delivery also, I discovered these were made in China after all. Well, hard to find housewares not manufactured in that Country. Well I was initially disappointed, but I know the set is holding up fine. They are pretty and durable.

  • How accurate was the on site description of the product? fine, except I did not realize the plates had rimmed edges

  Love love love these dishes - they are beautiful - much better than in photos. Will probably buy another set for extras!!:)

  • How did the color on site compare with the actual product? Almost exact - I ordered 2 sets and one had a little more moss color around the rims but they work well together

  I gave these to my sister for a gift at Christmas and she went absolutely crazy over them. She said the quality was amazing and wanted more, but didn't realize I had already sent her another set that was still on the way. Thanks Overstock.com for making Christmas fabulous.

  Very accurate description, great value, arrived promptly and is EXACTLY what I wanted to complete the new kitchen I have!!! By having this as an added bonus to the canister set I was purchasing the entire look I tried to achieve was accomplished. Thanks Overstock for restoring my faith in placing an order through your site. i would however caution readers NOT to order form any source from abroad unless you want to get screwed.

  the spoon rest was smaller than I imagined. The napkin holder could also be larger.
