This item is a gift for a friend for Christmas, It has not been opened or tried yet, probably will not be used until next fall. The item price was excellent and item was received quickly. This product has an excellent reputation and do not expect any change.

As I excepted from All American this is a very nice pressure canner. I already have a larger model for the majority of my canning but now I have a smaller one for small batches or for when everything won't quite fit in the big canner. The lid on this model was a bit finicky to open and close at first but a few adjustments to the screws and it was set. This past weekend I used it as a pressure cooker to cook a Turtle Cheesecake. it performed beautifully. The cheesecake was delicious.

I love this pressure canner. I have been canning foods for many years and have used several varieties of pressure canners. This one is excellent! No more leaky seals!

This was the best canner to use to learn how to can. Now that I am a pro, I am graduating to an All American 921, though I have had the opportunity to use the 930, which is a beast but excellent if you have a ton of canning that needs to get done in a short amount of time. I've also had the opportunity to use other brands of canners that work okay but the All American canner is the best for your money. Plus, unlike the cheap versions that look like crap after a few years, the All American is an heirloom for several generations.

Can lots of products yearly-this year corn, beets, spaghetti sauce, tomato soup, chili, meatballs, chicken breasts, soups, and broths. to name a few to day -today my wife Cheryl is canning pickled jalapenos- she has the all American 930 14 quart also and loves them both- the 915 is lighter and easy for her to handle-930 good for bigger batches but not as easy for her to work with.

This is the 3rd All American canner we have bought in the last few months. Yah it's that impressive. Add a couple ounces of water put on top, turn on & adjust heat & get it right every time. I think my wife loves it more than ME ! Although I am kind of a dink.

Love the 915 Pressure Canner/cooker! Very nice piece of kitchen equipment. I am already using it to can vegetables from my garden. Works very well, and the quality is worth the price! Yes, it takes a few times to get used to clamping down the top, but it's worth the extra effort for the safety it gives. I opted for the smaller 915 version vs. the 921 as I do have a glass cooktop. I know the warnings state not to use it for such, but my cooktop is newer and has an extra large burner close to the corner, so it's well supported. My old hot water bath canner is much larger and never scorched or damaged my cooktop...so I thought I would give it a try...This is not a recommendation, as always---Safety First! Just wanted you to know, it worked for me! I'm so Happy! Nice job Overstock on packing it in the shipping box to protect it from damage! THANKS!

I absolutely love this pressure cooker. I have an old style with the gasket in it but I wanted this newer style. I have not used the canner yet but I do a lot of canning in the summer. This will make it much easier. The price was great and Overstock's shipping policy can not be beat.

The construction is completely solid. Having no rubber gasket or seal is the best part of this PC; no replacing, no leaking. Top Bakelite handle is large, easy to grip, and my favorite; bolted in. Not screws, nor glue, but bolts! Plenty of internal space. Gauge is wonderful, but at the temp at which the weight jiggles properly, it reads about 2 PSI lower than weight reads. Possibly raise heat and add water? I just extended cook time. Beautifully constructed and hand inspected. There was a card with the inspectors designation so you can hold them personally responsible if it explodes in your face. I wish everything came with one of those cards.... About half to two thirds of other prices online, shipped to my door in three days. Great investment.

I am extremely happy with my purchase. You couldn't get a better pressure cooker. This is a top notch product. The price was cheaper here than the all-american website. The shipping was speedy. I would recommend this product and this site. :)

I have never owned a pressure cooker. I did a lot of research before deciding on the All American. I had no trouble using it or understanding the directions. I anticipate getting many years of service from this product.

Statrted canning with a Harvest gold Presto canner 35 years ago, a very reliable albeit time consuming implement, this American trumps it big time. Worth every nickel.

My old canner drove me nuts, to say the least. It was always leaking and wouldn't seal right. After meeting and talking with several Amish folks, they recommended the All American 915 15.5- quart pressure canner. They can constantly and know what works. They were right. Love it !!

All-American pressure canners got some pretty high recommendations to me and this beast seems to have lived up to the hype. I like that there is no gasket to replace, the combination pressure gauge and jigglier is fantastic and the fact that it can hold quite few jars with room left over is a big plus too. Everything arrived in pristine condition including the box it was shipped in.

The first time I ordered, the product was sent by Fed Ex, it was also sent with signature required. I work like most Americans, and am not able to be home 24-7 waiting on them to deliver something. Very poor service and regulation. The second time I ordered, it cam parcel post without problem.

This is a great investment for anyone who wants to can. I love that I can have one vessel for both pressure and water bath canning, PLUS this doubles as a pressure cooker. Also nice that there is no gasket to worry with and clean. My husband and I joke that the All-American will be passed down to our daughter one day, I believe it will last that long!

I learned all about pressure cooking with a 21.5 qt American Standard pressure cooker/canner. The ability to cook stews and soups in 4-15 minutes with a layering and richness of flavor greater than anything I could do in 10 hours wa fabulously addicting. I used it daily for 5 years and I still use this huge pressure cooker, as will my children and their children since these are built like tanks. Since I had originally bought the 21.5 qt model for canning, and it was bulky for everyday use, I purchased different styles and brands of smaller pressure cookers and was never as pleased with them as I am with my American Standard. Many of the other cooktop models limited pressure ranges with some of them not even getting 15psi which is standard for stews and soups and none of them have pressure gauges. The electric pressure cookers take 81 minutes to make stew. It takes 11 minutes in pressure cooker that gets 15psi. The other cooktop cookers have little buttons that pop up to tell you when pressure is reached but these usually pop before pressure is reached and you have to watch for a certain amount of steam....pure nonsense once you have used an American Standard pressure cooker. It is built like a tank, has a rocker to let you know when ideal pressure of 5/10/15 psi is close and a pressure gauge so you know exactly what the pressure is.... I looked everywhere for a smaller size American Standard pressure cooker and couldn't find one anywhere. KUDOS Overstock! I am now using the best pressure cooker on the market in an everyday size. Thank you! I am ordering another one for my mom. Th
