Machine is very good for all types of bread. Gets the job done and can keep the bread warm.

After learning that human hai is used in commercial bread making I decided it was time to make my own. It couldn't be easier and should prove economical. One bag of bread flour costs about the same as a loaf of bread. My only complaint - no fault of the machine - is that I am too short to read the screen settings on top of the unit. All and all - I am very glad I purchased it.

easy little bread machine! I bought the first for our 2nd home, then got my daughter one for her dorm. It will be the next one I get for myself.

I ordered this bread maker to replace an old one - I did think it would be smaller than it was, but bread makers are just big appliances to have. I tested it by baking a standard 2-lb loaf of white bread. Came out perfect! I also made pizza dough that was perfect (recipe makes enough for a 16-inch pizza). Definitely recommend for the price!

I am very pleased with this product, and the bread that it produces. I've tried several recipes from the included booklet - they are all excellent, and the results are consistent. The machine is attractive and easy to use. This is my first breadmaker, and I only wish I had bought one sooner.

I looked at a lot of bread machines and read many reviews. It's my first purchase of one and I didn't want to spend a fortune. I am so happy with this machine. The process is so simple and fast. I found that I had the best results sticking to the recipes in the book provided. But now that I've got some experience I'm ready to venture out. I love the creativity of it and knowing exactly what is going into the bread I make. I now pass up the bread isle in the stores. Nothing can compare to homemade.

This was my second Breadman bread machine. I purchased the first one about nine years ago. I use it usually twice a week. It is still working but is beginning to groan a little now and then, so wanted to get a new one for backup. I used both at Thanksgiving to bake two loaves at the same time. It turned out the same excellent bread as the old one. This machine is easy to use and to tailor the loaf you want to make. For me the most important factor is durability. I also like the size and shape of the loaf.

I find this machine easy to use. However, the LC display doesn't work. I would have sent it back, but we were recently hit badly by Hurricane Sandy, and it's the only appliance I have at the moment. Making fresh bread is a small luxury that is lovely at this chaotic time. The bread that I make should have a light crust and I find this machine cooks the bread a bit too long so that the crust is overdone. If you are looking for a crusty bread, though, this machine just might be for you. If you are looking for a bread machine you'll use only occasionally, this one can't be beat for the price! To sum up: for a begiinner, I would recommend this machine. If you're more of an advanced baker, I'd look for a better machine if I were you.

The unit is quite a bit larger and heavier than my previous one and the filling instructions are totally foreign to me but if you follow them to the letter you will have success. The recipe book is really an asset with some tremendous recipies that are out of the norm with so many grain breads and even jellies and jams (I have not tried them yet). You can choose your crust color and keep it warm for dinner with the warm cycle. I am glad I bought it. Be prepared though to look for hard to find types of flours and grains for some of the recipies. King Arthur carries most of them in their catalog by mail. Maybe some health food stores carry them.

great machine for the price. easy to use, clean and the customer service from HB is wonderful. Beware that the booklet does not match the paddles that are included (2). There are NO arrows embossed. this resulted in me loading it upside down and scraping off the the nonstick coating. I contacted HB and they sent me a replacement bread pan liner immediately with an apology. I only rated the value as Good due to the fact that **** has it on sale (the white one) for $***. I purchased the black because it was cheaper.

I like this machine because it can do more than just bake bread. It makes different kinds of dough that, in some cases, you take out of the machine and form it and bake in a conventional oven (pizza dough or pretzels). I'm satisfied.

I am not much of a baker, but fresh bread seemed like a great idea, so I purchased the Zojirushi BB-HAC10. I don't like to spend a lot of time preparing food, making this machine a great match. For basic bread, it takes 5-10 total minutes to retrieve my ingredients and add them to the baking pan. 3.5-13 hours later, fresh warm bread is ready for eating. After a 5-minute cleanup, the machine is ready for another loaf. It's a bit on the pricey side at $$$, but I find good value in the home bakery. I am also impressed with the quality of the breads and cakes the machine produces. I have tweaked the quantity of certain ingredients to adjust flavor, but the texture is always perfect.

This is the first automatic breadmaker I've ever used. I've made three loaves to date and they've all baked up very nice. This breadmaker has many extra features for making all kinds of breads, doughs, batter breads, jams, jellies, and many other things. I've only begun to explore all of it's possibilities. So far, I would have to say it does what it does very well. The only drawback to these kind of machines is they are only capable of making bread in one form. They aren't able to produce round breads, braided breads or baguettes, nor can they make unleavened breads. Despite that, this machine is very versatile and makes a very good 1#, 1.5#, or 2# standard loaf in about 21/2 to 3 hours. I like it.

I purchased this machine because it has the gluten free setting and the price was within my budget. I have been very satisfied with its performance.

Makes a nice loaf of bread takes getting use to learning the technique of putting in the ingredients especially if you had a different bread machine before

At first I was going to write a poor review. This is the second bread machine I have owned. So I thought I could adapt easily to this machine. I went out and brought all fresh stuff. The three loaves were horrible and I threw then out. Too dense of a loaf. Of course I started with the hardest loaves to make Whole Wheat. They tasted good but were dense and then I tried the Oatmeal bread from the recipe book that was given with the machine and it started out as a complete flop as none of the ingredients mixed well Like there wasn't enough water. So I added more water, thinking the manual wasn't written well. This loaf tasted good but still too dense. Then I thought I try a simpler recipe So I made the basic white bread. It came out good but the loaf fell in. But the bread tasted good. So overall I think the bread machine is well made but I think the recipes are poorly written, as I haven't had a loaf turn out perfect. My old machine I never had a problem.. But with this machine it is problem after problem. I cannot see the display as it is poorly designed. If I brought this in a store I would have returned it. I will struggle through with it and hopefully I will eventually learn to make a good loaf of bread out of this machine.

This is by far the best bread machine I have used. The first loaf did not have a good texture (it browned well and was very high) after I bought the recommended bread flour, my loaves were beautiful. I have owned three other machines and this has made the best bread. The instructions are easy to use and results are outstanding. I would highly recomend this bread machine.
