This was a Christmas gift for my daughter and she loves it. We had a great time using it the only thing is I wish that the cotton candy string came with it and was more easily accessible. We were able to use hard candy with it but it didn't produce very much product. I would definitely recommend this machine it is fun to use..

I am anemic so I eat ice constantly, I shave plain ice at least twice a day for myself and I love it. This is easy to use and makes fine ice like a Buffalo NY snowfall. I'm sure if you added flavor it would be a perfect sno cone. I just wonder how long the blade will last. Btw one of the screws fell out and I found it in my snow when I was half done, thank God I noticed it, if that would've of been in a snow cone given to a kid that could've been a disaster.

  • Problems with Nomiku

    Hypsypops  from Montana, Rating:2.0

I bought two of these for Christmas. The first unit gave a motor stuck error on first use. Unplugging the unit and rotating the impeller got it to work briefly before it shut down again. The second unit made three batches of scrambled eggs and one batch of pork chops before it shut down with an unreadable garbled screen. On the plus side, the design seems pretty good, the packaging was very nice. I just wish the engineering was decent. It's not something that I can trust with a lengthy cooking time as in sous-vide. I bought the Nomiku's over a different brand that had a lot of poor reviews for unreachable customer service. Sadly, I'm now finding that Nomiku is also not responding to messages left on their website, and does not appear to have a phone number for customer service.
