I have purchased dozens of Cuisinart products over the years and it is nearly always my preferred brand. This can-opener, however, is as worthless as my 3rd husband. It doesn't work AT ALL (neither did he). It shreds the paper on the can and leaves a mess and doesn't open the can. On the rare occasion that it does cut a portion of the can it follows through with dropping it to the counter-top and leaving a huge mess (just like he did).
Overstock is true to their word (nothing like him) and allowing me to return the awful thing (his mother didn't want him back). I appreciate their great customer service and the chance to take a few shots at the ex. Thank you for listening. I'm glad we had this chat. :)
when you try and open up a can the insert keeps coming out and that's because your sappose to be able to remove the cutter to clean which i though was a good feature until i found out it comes out to easily. I would not recommend buying this can opener to any one
I was looking for grain mill to grind wheat berries to make homemade bread. I was looking between manual mill vs. electric mill. After researching little bit, I decided on L'Equip Nutrimill grain mill. I received the product fast. Already, I have used it three time so far. First, I am glad that I bought electric mill. Secondly, Nutrimill grind the wheat really fast and clean up is very easy. This was first time baking bread and I did not know how much flour is need for five loaves of bread. Let me tell you, it take a lot of flour. I can not even imagine how long it will take to grind enough flour to make five loaves of flour by hand. It took less than seven minutes to grind enough flour to make five loaves of bread and time to run the machine to clean the machine. In my opinion, if you are planning to bake many loaves of bread, this Nutrimill will serve your needs well. I am glad I have chosen this mill.
I bought this to make sweet potato trears for our dogs. Our Golden Retriever puppy has severe allergies to fowl, and there are not very many treats I can buy that don't have chicken in them. Plus, I have to worry about where the treats are made. I've used my new dehydrator twice now. My sweet potato treats came out better the second time, but only because I sliced them thicker. Our pets love them, and it's a lot easier than baking treats. My next project is beef jerky for my husband. This was a great investment for our kitchen, especially since store-bought sweet potato treats are not cheap!
