2 of them started SMOKING on me during normal use. 1 could of been a fluke.. but not two. The smoke stunk up my house like burned rubber for days. There is difinitely a problem with the way its made.

I purchased this product due to the ad it would cut hard frozen meat. It will not, it did not keep the setting of 1/4" had to check it constantly will not cut anything after getting to 1" as it drops between the tray due to the space. The clean up OMG horriable. On the second use it stopped working and is now in my trash can.

This is a great product for the price! I have used it several times and it takes the hassle out of cooking herbs. The only thing is that if you are cooking only a small volume of herbs, then it doesn't boil down to 1 cup, more like 1 1/2 - 2 cups of liquid. Also, I noticed that the boiling function doesn't turn on if you boil a second pot of herbs right away without letting the pot cool a bit first. Other than that, this sure beats the heck out of constantly monitoring your stove while your herbs cook.

Always wanted one of these! So I bought 2. It was delivered quicker than I thought it would have been and was excited to use it. It worked very well, BUT the width of the product only allowed for 1 regular sized wiener, instead of 2 on each row. But that's ok

Delivery was fast. Dehydrator works great! I made kale chips the first day. OMG! So delicious! They were ready in about 2 1/2 hours. I did play with the temp settings a little, maybe that's why they were done so fast.

I gave this to our son in law for Chirtmas and by 1 pm he was on his second loaf! He loves it. It is easy to use and clean up goes fast. It makes not only bread but dough for rolls, pizza and pasta. He is thrilled with it and I am so glad he is! Thanks

This slicer works well but has a poor sanitary design. The stainless platform holding the meat tucks into a plastic frame leaving a very small opening for food juices to build. The platform needs to be 1 piece or cover the frame not tuck into it. Returned it.

It is an excellent product for the price. It dehydrates the fruit in a decent amount of time (6-8 hours for 1/8 inch slices). If you would like a little water left in the fruit then 4 hours is sufficient. No need to add sugar to dehydrated fruit, just dehydrate when ripe. Replacement parts are expensive, so take good care of it, and clean before/after every use.

Although it dries, there are two problems: 1. No timer--So you have to be there to unplug it when you think it's done. We fell asleep and everything burned and turned to fruit dust AND 2. Very very noisy If you don't mind babysitting it, don't need to go our for 8-12 hours while it's working, and don't mind noise--it's a good, cheap dehydrator.

The only thing that is needed to up grade on it is the place to put the ice cream in needs to stay a lot longer frozen so we can use it more then 1 hour at a time. Other then that it is very good. I am using it for VBS and I wasn't able to use it like I would have liked because no matter how long you keep the container in the freezer it don't stay frozen for very long. Only can make one batch of Ice Cream and for 40 children we need to use more then that for it.

The item was a good value for the price. The two things that stand out that could be improved were, 1) suction cup legs don't work well, so as you you put puressure on the item your slicing you start pushing the machine all over the place. 2) plastic back portion of machine not strong enough to handle the pressure of the product being sliced. what happens is when you press on the item to be sliced the plastic back gives and the thickness setting you set is no longer any good because the product pushes it out, and your thickness setting gets distorted.

After many years using a round dehydrator with the motor attachment on the bottom,( it was a nightmare to clean) I saw this square one and liked the extra space it offers. I've used it 1 time and it works great, fast, quite and cleans up is the dishwasher no problem. Having the motor on top makes all the difference. I would recommend this 100%. I do wish it had an on/off switch instead of unplugging from the wall, but I'll trade that flaw for the ease of the top motor and clean up.

This is a nice machine, quiet, holds a lot, but its bulky and the trays don't easily line up. Also preparing the food is alot of work and it comes out really shrunk up. I made some sweet potato and kale chips and they were a 1/4 of the size of the actual slice or leaf. Practice makes perfect, but ask yourself before buying "how often will I use this machine?" and that should guide your decision whether to invest in it. All and all I'm glad I purchased it and will probably use it for food that I don't want to go bad before using it all.

The product was well packaged but my tray rim was bent in one spot anyway. The size of the unit is rather nice for gravys and vegetables, but probably not big enough to hold a main course item for more than 3-4 servings. The temperature of the food in the trays even with the highest setting didn't seem very hot. I wouldn't use it to keep things at serving temp for more that 45minutes to 1 hour. But it does keep the serving area neat and the clear lids prevent some heat loss by lookie loos lifting the lids to see whats inside.
