The shade was very easy to put together. The base is a rich chocolate and large It looks great on my end tables. I'm not sure if would work in a small room since they are rather large. I'm glad I purchased them, I get many compliments on them.

The lamps are beautiful in person. They are far more elegant than the picture. The color is rich chocolately brown and the shades are tan but let ample light through. As far as the construction of the shades, I can't see why anyone would complain - it was extremely easy to insert the upper and lower rings. I am very, very pleased with this item.

The lamps look very nice and were easy to assemble. The cord, which is not visible in the online pictures, is a bright yellow/gold color that I was not expecting. A clear or neutral cord would be more attractive. Overall, I am happy with my purchase.

We received these lamps very quickly and are very pleased with them. They were easy to set up and really looked nice with the new sofa. I would recommend these to anyone. We have received several compliments on high nice they fit into the general decor of the room.

These lamps are beautiful; they command the room without overwhelming it. The lampshades do come unassembled but I think is a great idea, this way you will not get dents on them. I understand that some people had problems trying to make the shades look straight, be patient and do not tighten the little ball all the way down so you can place the shade in the right position (I used a tool to straighten the screwing base which was slightly skewed). Overall these lamps are really nice for the price and even for a higher one. We are looking forward purchasing the red ones also, since ceramic lamps are really expensive.

The color of the lamps are beautiful. The chocolate brown is a very rich color brown that looks very expensive, and it goes really well with most color schemes. I brought them to go in my bedroom and I was really surprised at how expensive they look .The price was great and I had been searching for lamps to go with the color scheme in my room. They are larger than I expected but they fit perfect on the night stand. I did experience a little problem with putting the shade together. I recommend you make this clearer in description.Overall, I would defineltly recomend these lamps. Great price ,Great Look,really nice lamps.

looked just like the picture, nice size table lamps. was a little surprised to see that i had to put the lamp shades together (it was very easy), but never saw a lampshade that had to be assembled. I would recommend the product a good value for 2 lamps.

I had searched and searched for some time for inexpensive lamps that fit our style AND budget. We kept coming back to this set, and finally decided to purchase them. No regrets... absolutely beautiful, sleek, big but not obtrusive. Our bedroom finally feels grown up.

These lamps were very simple to assemble and have a nice metro look. The shade is cheap but looks fine once you put it together. I have my lamps in a sitting room that I recently redecorated on a budget. Out of EVERYTHING that I did to that room the lamps are the only items singled out for compliments. Sheesh. Good value. I like the red one too but went with the brown. It's a "hershey bar" brown. Very nice. I'm happy.

The lamps were so much bigger than expected. I purchased them for my bedroom, but they were so nice that I kept them in the living room. They go great with my couch (the overall living room). They are beautiful.

They are wonderful! Large scale, great lines. Not sure why everyone else complained about shade construction. Maybe it's been changed, but it snapped together in a matter of minutes. Looks great. Sidenote: If you have alot of dark brown furniture in your room like I do, they kind of blend in. I ended up spray painting the bases a high gloss black and they look like lamps of seen for hundreds of dollars! Great price, easy assembly! Highly recommend!

I get lots of compliments on these. I have dark brown couches, tan and dark yellow walls, and wood tables. These look perfect. I didn't think they were hard to assemble, and can't believe they look this good coming out of a box. Great value.

Okay I didnt expect much for the price paid however it looked even cheaper than I anticipated. Originally I was going to use them in my living room to go with my brown leather living room set butttttt I decided to use the lamps in my furnished basement instead. If you want something "rich" looking for a good price then I suggest spending a little more money to really get your moneys adn quality worth.

I purchased these two lamps unsure of the quality and looks and was a bit leery. However, I was pleasantly surprised after I assembled these lamps and saw how beautiful they were! The chocolate brown color with the beige lampshades are just fantastic! Overall, an excellent purchase!

The only feature I find disappointing on these lamps are the shades. Due to shipping the shade comes in pieces and you have to assemble it out of the box and the pieces just seem cheap leaving the appearance of the shade a little misshapen and off kilter.
