All the other reviews were VERY accurate. It's a great bed for the price. The headboard is taller than I thought, but that's not a bad thing. There is a bit of a gap between the mattress and the fram, but i think that's for tucking in the covers. The only downside is the slats under the mattress do fall out with barely any movement. I was laying in bed watching tv and two fell out. Not a huge deal. But that would easily be fixed by some cheap boards from a home improvement store. I highly recommend this.

I've been wanting a platform with the tufted headboard for that "hotel room" look for a long time. I was thrilled when I found this at a great price! When it arrived, I managed the boxes and assembly all by myself. It's not light, but manangeable. You do not need a drill or any additional tools, it all comes with the hardware. The assembly and directions were straightforward and I put it together in a little over an hour. Note: Assemble the headboard first, then the frame. As many others have commented, the slats are pine and rather cheap, I hope they last a while. Today my foam mattress arrives, so I'll be so excited to spend my first night on the new bed. A great product for the money!

I loved the look of this bed on the website, it was exactly what I wanted for the look of my room. The bed took about 40 minutes to assemble and even though the plastic fitting to slat situation is a little odd- its held up perfectly so far and feels very sturdy. You should only use a mattress (no box spring) if you want to be able to see the full headboard. I ended up throwing out my boxspring and it looks great on its own now. My queen fits right into the frame. Very luxurious! I have received so many compliments. I'm sure at least 2 of my friends are thinking about buying the same bed now. The only con I would say is that its low to the floor, about 6 inches or less, so my dog can't get under the bed anymore where she liked to hide. I guess now she cant jump onto the bed easily though so that can be good or bad depending.

I bought this bed for my tween daughter. I so wanted to glam up her room. The bed is very pretty and should transition nicely as she gets older. As other customers have commented, the slat system is poor. However, with a creative husband, that can be fixed.

LARGE ITEM, shipped directly to my door. Set up was easy. My husband is excellent putting things together. It took about 35 to 40 minutes. sturdy well made product, we are so please. It is a beautiful asset to our bedroom. I will recommend and continue to order from Overstock. Side bar. The slats leave alot to be desired but we will work that out at home depot. :)

This is the first bed frame I've ever had to build/set-up myself. Pros: + Relatively cheap compared to other similar bed frames + Looks very nice! Cons: - Bedsteads (wood that holds the mattress) are not smooth or sanded. Poor quality wood. - You have to screw/create a hole yourself when positioning the bedstead - Small stands that hold the center wooden piece of bedstead easily fall over and don't support the bed very well.

Once you get through the rough spots, the finished product is lovely and as advertised. For the price, it is definitely worth it. The assembly isn't easy but with perseverance you'll get there. Overall, after replacing the poor quality wood slats, it is a beautiful bed for this price.

I love the bed, it looks great. I already got compliments for my bed. It is very easy to assemble, took 30 mins for use to assemble. I highly recommend this to all. Just a note: This is ivory not white. Also when you put spring box, header doesn't look as tall as shown pict. The pictures shown must be white out spring box.

The bed is gorgeous. I love the size of the headboard. However, the slate of the bed broke after just 2 weeks. They sent us these little black legs to hold it up and they were extremely cheap. Overall, the bed is great but the slate is awful so plan on spending the extra moeny on the slate.

I was a little hesitant about purchasing this bed because of some of the reviews on here (i read most of them). I am so glad I went ahead with my purchase because my bedroom looks like a hotel bedroom...just perfect! I paired this bed up with all black nightstands/dressers. The quality is great...nothing like the cheaply made stuff that Ikea has (which I was thinking it would be like because of the price being so low). The bed is very sturdy! We put it together in less than 20 minutes. I didn't use the slats that the bed comes with. I used my own box spring and took out the boards that hold the slats on the insides of the bed. I noticed some other reviewers that did the same.

this bed looks even better in person! it arrived in two boxes.....both pretty heavy! my husband and I assembled it together.....it was an easy task and didn't take too much time. the only thing they should fix is the slat system and the quality of the slats! cheap and really flimsy wood! I'm not sure if it will hold up if somebody heavier uses the bed.....we will find out this xmas! but we already have a back up plan in our garage if it doesn't! Other than that.....the bed is great and makes the room! it looks so so good and expensive. Not cheap faux leathery at all (like too shiny)! Great buy......can only recommend it!
