do not buy this based on the description, it is a cheap, shiny woven fabric. not linen at all! farthest thing from. i guess this was to be expected given the price. it is a yellow-y cream color, not beige. very dissatisfied.

Needs Improvement
I expected a beige linen and got a cream textile fabric? missing screws had to go to Home Depot to buy more to make headboard strudy, I would not buy this again!!!

looks nice BUT.....
OVER ALL, THE BED MAKES A STATEMENT IN A ROOM. LOOKS FANCY. BUT I STRONGLY RECOMMEND REPLACING THE SUPPORTING WOOD AT THE BOTTOM. THE WOOD IT CAME WITH WAS WEAK AND FELT UNSECURED. BUT AS SOON AS I REPLACED IT WITH STRONGER WOOD... PERFECT. I'M GLAD I MADE THAT CHOICE.

great headboard
The only negative I believe is that the fabric should not be listed as a linen, it is much too coarse to be considered linen. Fast delivery and set up was relatively easy

Awesome.
I purchased this product after reading all the reviews and was prepared for the very worst. But I did not have a big budget, and I really needed a platform bed, so I took the leap. I was downright astounded by the quality when it arrived. Also, it was outrageously easy to assemble. Maybe it's because I've done my share of *** assemblies, but this was the easiest project ever. I did it in 45 minutes by myself because I didn't want to wait for my husband to get home. It didn't require any tools other than the Allen wrench it came with. So easy and so beautiful. Only downfall is that I now want to spend all my free time decorating my bedroom to really show off the bed. It's gorgeous.
- How did the color on site compare with the actual product? Close. I guess it depends on your interpretation of beige. When I think beige I think of a very light brown, but this is more of a cream.
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. Excellent. I was expecting the worst based on some reviews and I was very pleasantly surprised. It's very sturdy. Easily supports me (145 lbs) and my husband (220lbs) Doesn't move around or even squeak.

Pleasantly Surprised
I ordered this bed before reading any reviews. I have never purchased a product on overstock without reading reviews. Read reviews after already completed order. The reviews were so negative immediately contacted overstock to return the bed was to late had to at least receive it before I could return. I was not even going to open the box but the return cost was about $88.00 which would of made another purchase to expensive. So I opened the box prepared to not like the bed. I was thrilled to see it is a very nice bed. It looks worth much more then the price and was in excellent condition and went together very easy. My problem is it is a large platform bed and would look great in a larger bedroom then I put it in. Overall this time I am glad I did not see all the bad reviews.

The Color was disappointing. The color is lighter. The texture was different than I Expected. I wish it was a tad darker.

Piture does not do this bed justice
Once the bed arrived it was better looking than in the picture, nice cream color and texuted look. I love this bed.
