Sonora Full-size Platform Bed

I am a BIG FAN of Platform Beds, specifically ones made of METAL as I do not feel wooden slats from side rail to side rail are truly strong enough to take the weight of a decent mattress and people on top. I also hate box springs and it is about time they stopped making those annoying huge bulky things that simply kill the trees and serve no purpose in the world of today! The Sonora Platform Bed was HEAVIER than I thought and came in two packages 22lbs and 72lbs. I own another queen size platform bed made of metal all around )shiny silver in color) and with some pine decor strips across the head board and foot board. the queen bed I own is a little lights and has 9 slats of metal across it. PROS OF THIS SONORA: 1) VERY VERY Strong and extremely well designed 2) The mattress rests on what I call a "Chicken Grid" and two long bars and 5 supporting legs 3) ROCK SOLID when built, extremely well designed 4) far more attractive than its competition in my opinion and super smooth finish (like a high end bicycle frame) 5) Great value for money, especially from overstock. Local dealers wanted 2 x the price plus TAX! CONS OF THE SONORA 1) Perhaps overkill with the weight and robustness for a full size bed ( but not a problem for me, I like STRENGTH 2) A little complicated to put together compared to my Queen Size bed made by another manufacturer, but once you understand what to do, it would be very easy to dismantle and put together again if you move home 3) There is space for a 6th leg of support, I think it should be included, as it would sit at the foot of the bed and I sometimes sit at the foot of the bed so I would like that extra supporting leg ALL IN ALL - this bed is perfect in every way, I simply LOVE IT :) I would definitely recommend that you buy this bed - no questions asked. I am very very impressed. THE CONS I talk about are certainly no trouble at all so for me there NO CONS. I mentioned the cons as I am certain some people might find those things I mention, a little annoying. OVER ALL I give this bed a 10 out of 10 for my needs but I think an 8 out of 10 is more appropriate for people that are NEW to platform BEDs PLEASE FEEL ASSURED you NEVER NEED A BOX SPRING with this BED - It is ROCK SOLID. I would recommend a 10" or higher mattress. I am considering buying the "Accu-Gold 13" memory foam RV Mattress from overstock.com but I would rather buy DORMIA or TEMPURPEDIC as all the other cheaper brands are so similar... we will see, if I buy the "13" Memory foam Accu-gold" here, I will certainly supply a review, but I dont like the fact it has to be BUILT at this end, as people on youtube have stated in reviews the zip up cover tears easily and that is a big problem... I want something SOLID, like this WONDERFUL BED :)
