I really shopped around for a nightstand before I bought this one. None of the store could beat the price, not even the big chain stores. I did have to put this together myself, but it was super simple to do. One word from the wise on assembly would be to put the drawer rail mounts on the the sides before putting the top and front front trims on. It said to do it after but that it more difficult than it should have been. All in all, this is a great item. It looks good, and I couldn't beat the price.

I ordered two of these for our bedroom. They were about what I'd expect for the price. If you've ever purchased furniture from Sauder, Bush, or the such, it's about on par with them. The material is basically a particle board type construction, with a (in this case) black veneer. Assembly wasn't too bad, I was able to put one together in about 2 hrs, and that included hunting down my husband's tool set. It would go faster with a cordless screwdriver with changeable heads. When completed they are reasonably attractive, and the drawers functioned smoothly. I was not missing any parts, and all pieces were intact and free of defect. Shipping was typical of Overstock, fast and efficient. If you are looking for a good intermediate piece to hold you for a while, or maybe something inexpensive for a guest/child's room, these would be perfect.

The finish was a perfect match for my existing bedroom set. It arrived much faster than I ever expected. Assembly was easy and all the pieces were there. I'd buy more of the same set, if I had room.

This is a good "some assembly required" product. The frame and drawer sides are solid wood and the rest composite. Not high end but a nice side piece for a guest room. Perfectly matches the existing headboard in the room.

I've had this nightstand now for several years and I still love it and use it. It's made it through 2 moves, and held up like new. The color and style match my other bedroom furniture nicely. The drawers are nice, deep, and glide very smoothly.

This product is very cheaply made. When items are placed in the drawers they do not function well - sag, get stuck. Not worth the money. Took approximately 2 hours to put together. Very disappointed - had much better luck with a previous furniture purchase from Overstock.

I was overall satisfied with this purchase. It arrived quickly and was relatively easy to assemble. When I was done putting it together, the piece seems sturdy enough to be an extra nightstand, since my set discontinued. The one thing I'm a little disappointed with is the color. The piece looks much lighter on the site, but it is actually a shade or two darker, which doesn't make it the best match for my existing set. That said, it was purchased as an extra, so I'm keeping it.

Assembly was easy, all 3 kids helped. We did have one cracked side panel to one of the drawers, but i just glued and used it, as it was a long awaited item. The color match was amazing with the rest of the furniture, I was very happy that the light maple finish was the same as most. It is not top quality, but it is good for my intentions.

Bought this to add to an existing bedroom set. The color is a close match, not perfect, but in a dark room, it works fine. Color is a bit darker and more uniform than the picture on site. The drawers are not a different color from the base. I put it together in about 20 minutes. If you've ever assembled any boxed furniture before, this is pretty simple.

I love this nightstand. Bought it in maple and it goes well with the other furniture in my 2nd bedroom. Nicely made. If you purchase it you will be happy with it.

This is a nice dresser the only problem was a couple of parts was missing. But the company was very helpful with sending the replacement parts. Overall it is a good deal.

This is a wonderful nightstand... good quality and attractive for the cost. My only issue is that the color of the actual nightstand is darker than the nighstand shown on the website. We were adding this piece to a room of other maple furniture, but the nighstand was so different in color I had to send it back.

Challenge to assemble, but very sleek once it is put together.

This nightstand looks nice, but it was pretty labor intensive to put together. If you're looking for something cheap and have patience, this is for you!

We recently bought this and were very satisfied with the product. It looks better than how it was in the picture and very easy to assemble.

We wanted something that was useful and nicelooking for our teenage son, it is all of that, and very solid, I am very pleased w/the product and definately the price, all parts were there, and tho, I was over-whelmed w/assembly, my husband breezed right through, took maybe an hour...so yeah, I definately recommend this product.. thanks overstock!

Very happy with this product. They look like we paid more than we did. Can't beat the price. Assembly was very simple for me & my husband. It's nice to have the drawers for storage. Wish I would have bought them a long time ago, they really make our room look better!

This night stand was very easy to put together, is well built and looks much more expensive than it was. The drawers glide seamlessly and quietly, which is important for a nightstand. The finish is beautiful and it actually smells like real wood next to the bed! I am very pleased with it.
