They are not privacy shades.
The shade looked very attractive in the room. The mechanism for opening worked very good. The problem is that it was not a privacy shade. At night with the light on in the room and the shade closed, everything was visable from the outside. You could almost tell what you were watching on TV.

Good for the $$
I received the blinds pretty quickly so that was good. It was an easy install which equals great. They freshen up the look making it more up to date. Take note they are not privacy blinds. You can see through them. So buyer beware. They look good for the price. So if it is a design look you are going for I say take a chance. You really can't beat the price.
