We purchased 5 shelves on this site that were awesome. We purchased this one the same day. The quality of this is poor, made with particle board. We purchased it for a bathroom so it will not hold up. We had to finish painting the unfinished sides of all the pieces to seal it and then we could put it together. No baskets came with this set. The other sets we purchased were of a much nicer quality, were solid wood and were finished and then included the baskets for less money. This was a very disappointing purchase.

This shelf looks like the PB Samantha shelf at a fraction of the cost. The directions are really not that clear, but you can figure it out if you take your time. There is not a full backing to the back of the cubbies (meaning that you can see the wall when mounted). If hung correctly, the hooks are study and can support jackets & coats.

Great in garage entry near mud room. Sturdy, functional and attractive. Not at all difficult to assemble or mount. Instructions are not correct as others have pointed out, but it isn't difficult to tell what goes where. Good product. Highly recommended.

I love this shelf, it has helped us organize the mud room. It is sturdy and big, and you will need someone strong and good with tools to put it together.

I was disappointed when putting this piece together. The instructions are not very good. You must be careful to get everything in the correct direction. The holes that the plastic dowels go into were deeper than they should have been and swallowed up the entire peg. I was covered in black "shoe polish" when I was done assembling this piece. The black permanant marker included with the hardware should have been a clue.

Coordinates very nicely with Sonoma Cubby Bench. Rich, warm color. Works really well to hang coats if you don't have a coat closet in your home. Would be nice if website linked a set of baskets to this product so that customers would not need to shop around on their own for baskets to fit after receiving the shelf.

I was looking forward to giving this shelf to my wife for Christmas. When it arrived I opened it to discover the corners were damaged, it looked as though someone had dropped it. I expected more I guess. I never did try to assemble it.

Sadly, this cubby shelf wasn't up to snuff. The assembly instructions were incorrect as another reviewer pointed out. Please get the correct instructions before attempting to assemble. Otherwise, you'll wind up with holes where there shouldn't be! Otherwise, product is OK...

We purchased this along with the bench, (seperate review). There was large gobs of yellow glue on the shelf supports and the paint was scraped from some edges. Also did not appear too sturdy. Would not recomend.

I was able to put together the cubby in ~30 minutes. When I cam to the last step of screwing in the coat hooks, I realized that the board holding the hooks was upside down! I checked the instructions - they do not note the proper placement of the coat hook board giving users a 50/50 chance of doing this correctly. The issue is that the board was one of the first pieces to be screwed in. I had to unscrew additional pieces to reverse the board. So I basically built the cubby, took it apart, and reassembled. The most annoying part is that once the cubby is put together, the instructions then say that the mounting board is not predrilled nor does it come with screws! I'm absolutely amazed that Overstock would sell a product that does not come with all required parts!!!! As I haven't gotten to a hardware store yet, I have a nice looking cubby shelf sitting on the floor of my mudroom :-(

This is being used in our mudroom and it is perfect for that purpose.

Bought the bench portion of this cubbie set and LOVE it as well. Highly recommend - great workmanship, good quality and large enough to hold everything you need!

Bought the shelf with the bench to match... Great product, husband didn't even complain too much about putting it together. My only complaint is that I still haven't found any baskets to fit in the cubbies. Other than that, beautiful, sturdy! Received many compliments.

I purchased this cubby shelf for my laundry room which is off the entry from the garage entry. It went together very easily, and is very strong and sturdy. It looks fabulous on the wall and doesn't take up extra floor space. Now I have room for all the dog harnesses, leashes, and assorted other items...it looks fabulous!!

I've had this shelf in my laundry room for over a year. Still looks great and is very functional. I get compliments on it. I'd higher recommend it to anyone wanting extra storage.

I love this, it was exactly as I expected. Maybe even better quality than I thought! I always wonder about quality when you have to assemble yourself.

The product is nicely packed in a compact box. The instructions were easy to follow and only took about 15 minutes to assemble. The finished unit was every easy to attach to the wall. It was perfect for our needs.

Easy to build, easy to install and it looks great!

I love this cubby shelf. At my old house I used it in my stairwell which was used as kind of a mud room. In my new house I use it as storage in my office! I love it! Most people ask me if I got it from *****!

I bought this unit to help my 12 year old stay organized, it has helped a great deal. She loves the hooks for her sweatshirts and bags. For the money, a good value
