A friend of mine had this bench and I needed more storage in our very small house. It fit perfectly where I needed it and now can clean off my counter top.

This was by far the least expensive bench that I found for my foyer. I needed something that I could store shoes in and have my daughter sit on top of when I put her shoes on~ this what I was looking for. The only thing I might change would be to add a cushion on top- which I may have my mom make for the bench. Other than that its exactly what we needed. Assembly only took about 30min to an hour- very easy instructions. I put it together myself and did not need any help from my husband.

I was looking for something that would allow me to put various piles in cubbies, and also have a low surface like a bench. It is a great size and is sturdy. Certainly, the product is excellent for the price!
I am very pleased with the cubby bench. It looks very nice. I was worried about it arriving with scratches on the black finish, but it looked great. The only problem was the assembly. The instructions are OK. It took my handy friend an hour to put together (using a power drill)...it would have taken me three hours. Aside from that, it was exactly what I was looking for!
