Somerton Runway Dresser

I purchased this item and the matching chest of drawers based on the positive reviews I saw posted. Now, I'm posting my own review saying the same thing--this set looks very high end, much better than what I would have expected for the price. In fact, I was looking at some tony furniture places around me hoping to find some floor models to purchase, and these are nicer than similar items I saw that were actually triple the cost (on sale)! The pieces are very heavy, with solid drawers, nothing flimsy at all, and contains a lot of space. They were able to fit everything I need and they coordinate beautifully with the rest of my bedroom. I'm very happy with these items and would recommend them to others without hesitation. I should add that I was concerned with whether these would be damaged in shipping. They were well packed and although one of the large boxes was rather bruised and in some places broken, the chest and dresser were undamaged. I would prefer to buy furniture made in the US, there are so many wonderful manufacturers, but the cost was simply too good to pass up, and I needed to save the money. I've put the savings into buying organic cotton and wool bedding made here!

Just like the previous reviewers stated--gorgeous piece of furniture. It's much nicer in person than the picture shows. There's a lot of detail in the wood and it's a strong, sturdy, beautiful piece.

This dresser is VERY sturdy and beautiful too! You can't tell very well in the picture but the wood has a lot of detail in it. The drawers are also well made and have lining in the bottom, nice! The cabinet is sturdy with a nice shelf inside. This will last years on end!

It is a very nice and high quality dreser. It is very heavy and comes as a single piece. No assembly required but you need at least two strong people to move it inside. Overall I am very happy with this purchase.
