I found very similar chairs for almost 3x the price at a couple local furniture stores. National and regional chain stores. These are almost as high quality, and definitely high quality for the price. I am using these in a seldom used dining room, so I didn't need something that could withstand everyday use. However, I think these are sturdy enough for everyday use. Very easy to put together, I bought 4. Look great with my more "expensive" dining table.
