Although this looks very beautiful, it scratches VERY easily. Love the top inlay design. Do not want to cover it up with anything, thus defeating the purpose I got it!Read More
I ordered this table for my foyer. Was nervous about purchasing online, but read other reviews about the quality and beauty of this table, so I gave it a shot. It took a little longer than I expected to arrive, and the box it arrived in had some minor 'damage' to it- a couple of holes poked and a slightly smushed corner. When I opened the box, I was happy to see how well packaged it was. I did have some minor assembly required- attaching the legs and the lower shelf- but it was very straightforward and simple to do. All the pieces were intact, no scratches, everything worked and looked fine. The table is slightly larger than the one I am replacing, but I am happy about that. It is beautiful- the color of the wood is warm and the inlay is gorgeous. The drawer glides smoothly and has a nice lining inside. The table is also very solid and sturdy. I only wish the other pieces in this collection were less expensive- I would definitely consider the entertainment center, end table, and coffee table if I had the $$.Read More
Extremely pleased with our new sofa table. It is even better than I had pictured it to be. Beautiful craftsmanship!Read More
I needed a narrow buffet-style table for my dining area, one that had a shelf on the bottom for my cookbooks. I looked at tables marked 'buffet' but they were way out of my price range. So I decided to broaden my scope while searching, and this table popped up. It has a beautiful chevron inlay on top and although I'm sure it works well as a sofa table, I think it works even better as a buffet, both style-wise and utility-wise. I've put together a lot of complicated furniture and this table was the easiest ever - just put on the legs and the shelf...it took me about fifteen minutes total. It is VERY heavy and sturdy. I was surprised how sturdy it was once I put it together. The only change I made was I replaced the two drawer knobs (by the way - the drawer is already installed, which was a big time saver). Very pleased with my purchase!Read More
Do not buy this thinking it is what description says - it says the piece is wood with wood veneers. It is actually a pressed particle board. Most of it has the "photographed" wood grain on most of it - not veneer. I know this because the corner was bashed in on arrival and you could see there was no veneer and the piece was crumbling (the pressed board). That being said, it is under *** and looks very pretty. Very easy to put together.Read More
