I have this on my kitchen back splash, and it looks awesome. This is with "new venetian gold" granite and "harvest" stained cherry cabinets, it goes great in this combination. I was hoping that the stone would be a little less gray and a little more beige in person, but the picture is pretty much on color, and I am satisfied with the over all look. The plastic mesh on the back is very sturdy, was easy to cut with a wet tile saw, went on pretty smoothly. Each tile is individually wrapped in plastic on a cardboard back, very well packaged. More information about proper adhesive and grout would be helpful. When asked for "latex modified thinset" (as the product description here says) at the local big box store, they had no idea what I was talking about. On the sheet on the back of the tile it says "polymer modified white thinset", but that did not seem to clear it up. Maybe I should have gone to a tile specialty store for this. I ended up getting "glass tile mortar with polymer" powder form, which seems to have done the job. I have not grouted yet, but will be using unsanded grout as indicated on the back of the tile for glass tile (it has directions for 3 kinds of tile, you have to pick the one for your tile). These tile fit together but only in one direction (i.e. they have an up and down), but the pattern for nesting together does repeat every 6 tiles for a total of 18 tiles tall in each sheet. This means that if you need 1.5 sheets tall like I did you can't just the "top" half of the sheet to match up with the "bottom" within a single run because the ends won't match. In my case I had an "L" shaped area, so I was able to use the "bottom" half of the tile on one run, then when I got to start over in the corner for the second run, I was able to use the "top" half. If you are lucky enough to only need 1/3 of the sheet then you can take advantage of the repeat of the size pattern & fit these together easier. If you are doing one long run you may need to order some extra tile to make up for the mismatch issue. I think the effect is just what I was looking for, the glass and stone are a beautiful combination, go great with my counter and cabinets, and the under cabinet lighting makes this tile dazzle both night and day. Could not be happier with my choice!
