This planter is NOT stone. This was a big disappointment to me, since this was to go in my living room. It is a plastic seeming stone looking resin type of material- probably fine if outside on a patio. Went right back to Overstock, thank goodness for Overstock's wonderful customer service policy.

I love my new planter! It is very elegant and classic looking...makes me feel like I am in Italy. I really would like to get a few more. It is especially nice that there is a "plug" inside to drain the water.
