These tiles are gorgeous! The photo does not do justice to them. I chose them for a kitchen backsplash. The colors are softer than my monitor suggested: tans, ivory, soft gold, and a medium gray that coordinates well with stainless steel appliances. I should emphasize that the description suggests that the dark squares are black. My tiles do NOT have a jet black coloration; rather they are more of a dark, charcoal-brown shade. It's a very attractive color that balances well with the colors of the other tiles; however, if someone is trying to match onyx-black appliances or an ebony colored countertop, it might not be a perfect match. If it's of any help to anyone trying to visualize the color -- the oil rubbed bronze cabinet hardware that I've chosen works beautifully with these tiles. The black hardware that I had also considered, did not. The quality of the product is apparent at first glance and I am delighted with these tiles.
The tile is much more vibrant that it appears in the photos. The grey tiles tie in well with stainless steel appliances and the earth tones go well with granite and any stain of cabinet. The combination of glass and stone is unique. It looks beautiful as a backsplash in out kitchen.
The colors match perfectly with my pebble stone that I also bought through Overstock. I'm putting them as accent color in my tub. I bought other tiles before I found these, they were cheaper, but I love these. So the price was a little more than I wanted to spend, but well worth it. I have bought many things and have had no problems with anything.
The colors on my computer screen are much more vibrant than the actual colors. The brown looks like a dark tan online; however, it's actually a clear see-through yellowish color. Very washed out. Much lighter than anticipated. Definitely cool colors. We're looking for warmer colors. I would rename this Greyish Stone Mist. There's hardly a hint of brown in it. This would work better in a contemporary, cool kitchen. It does go well with stainless appliances. Perhaps a brownish grout might add some color.
