Received the tiles yesterday, they look great. Can't wait to see them installed. Using teak shower mat and stone shelving; colors in the tiles should show that off beautifully !Read More
These are very pretty tiles, however, that is what they are exactly...tiles. They are square and not interlocking like other backsplash tiles on the site. They are squares that require grout in between and I felt that they just looked too busy. If you are not concerned about the continuity of the lines, they may be great for you, but if you are looking for a continuous backsplash, these tiles are NOT the right pick. Overstock was very helpful and let me return them, I love Overstock!Read More
I bought these tiles to do a wall in my bathroom behind the vanity. I was really going for a spa feel with natural stone. I accomplished the feel with this tile. It looks so good. I wanted to do interlocking tiles, but it ended up being way too expensive. This was an inexpensive alternative and the wall turned out great. I have pictures and proud of how it turned out. Really expensive looking!! Thank you, Overstock.Read More
We were flipping a house and looking for a less expensive backsplash that still looks amazing. This was a great alternative to a more expensive layered stone look. I would not use this as floor tile as it has a lot of texture, but for a backsplash it was excellent.Read More
Questions & Answers
Yes, these tiles can be used on a wall as a focal point.
Looking at the possibility of putting this tile over a brick fireplace to add a more modern look. Can that be done with this tile. Also can the pieces be seperated for smaller areas.
No, the tiles can''t be separated into smaller pieces.
Are they smooth or does it vary in height? Looking at using for a floor tile.
They vary in height slightly.
How big are each of the individual stones? Do you need to use grout with these tiles? Could they be used for a back splash?
These stones are random sizes. There is no set dimensions for them. You will need to use grout for these tiles as well. They can definitely be used as a backsplash, but it might be a bit too heavy of a tile, so a good bonding agent would be needed to hold them up as the thinset dries.
