Beautiful tile - used it in an alcove in my bathroom from the floor to the ceiling and covered an arched ceiling over the tub. Very dramatic and beautiful - contrasts well with the white field tiles I used on the rest of the walls. I used a creamy grout called Sauterne that really makes the blue pop out. I have received many, many compliments on the beauty of the tile. A friend of mine plans to use them in her bathroom as well.Read More
I used this tile for the backsplash in my kitchen. We have a beach house that is unconventional in its builidng standards, so nothing is smooth or square. Due to the fact this product consist of small tiles it was much more forgiving. I used a smoke colored grout the when dry and sealed is a light grey but if I use it again I would use a custom color grout to match as close as possible the the small ring of grey/beige on the outside of each tile. LOVE IT!Read More
We're renovating the kids' bathroom and removed some very generic white tile from the bathroom floor. I was looking for something that would make it more fun and have a sense of style. This tile is really pretty and different. As others have said, it's not as dark as the photo appears, but it still very pretty. The walls of my bath are turquoise and this floor is lighter, but still coordinates very nicely with the walls. Our tile guy used a beige/grey grout and it looks really good. The outside of each tile is kind of a greyish/beige and it coordinates very nicely. I'm very happy with the tile and the kids are too. It arrived within days of ordering it as well.Read More
Beautiful tile for sink and stove area. I have received many compliments and really like my choice. I feared it may appear too busy, but that is not the Case. A dark grout really made the colors pop. The tiles were lighter than I had hoped for based on the photo, but for the price and quality, I made a small compromise.Read More
Love these tiles used them in my sons bathroom with dark gray grout really made the color pop. Everyone loves themRead More
The tile is even prettier in person. I've had extensive complements on it. I have a concrete handicap ramp to the shower in that bathroom, preventing me from tiling the floor with traditionally larger tiles. These worked beautifully since they wrapped around any curves with ease. The tiles pull off the mesh easily enough to be used for odd spots, but not so easily that they fall off it when you need them to stay. I used a light gray grout which looks beautiful. Used them for approx 25 sq ft of floor area. Shipped & delivered on time.Read More
The product is fine, however the color is totally different. It is a light blue and has very little unique appeal.Read More
These are beautiful tiles and really make the bathroom pop.Read More
When it was delivered everything was intact and just as we expected. We are using it in a small bath and needed a pop of color to bring out the blue pearl granite in our cabinet counter top.We are very excited to get it down and are sure its going to make everything come together. We think we will take the advise of another shopper and go with the black grout since our granite has black in it.Read More

Porcelain Tiles vs Ceramic Tiles
Tile is a building material known for its durability, moisture resistance and low maintenance requirements. Tile is often used in kitchens and bathrooms but is fairly versatile and can be used in a wide variety of applications, such as countertops, backsplashes and decorative wall coverings. The most common types of tile are porcelain and ceramic. Each offers distinct benefits and drawbacks that should be considered before making a purchase decision.
Best Types of Tile for Kitchen Countertops
Tile kitchen countertops are an affordable alternative to traditional solid stone units. Countertop tile can be made from many of the most popular materials, such as granite or quartz, yet costs just a fraction of the price. Tile countertops are also easy to install and repair, making them the perfect project for the DIY homeowner. Ceramic. Ceramic tile is made from natural clay that is baked to remove excess moisture. It is available in a wide variety of colors and designs that can be mixed and matched to any kitchen. Ceramic tile is affordable, easy to install and very low maintenance. It is also waterproof and able to withstand high temperatures from hot dishes. If you choose ceramic tile for your kitchen countertops, you should be aware that ceramic tile can crack or chip if heavy objects are dropped on it. To minimize grout stains, you can choose a dark grout and use a grout sealer to protect the seams from dirt. Mosaic. Mosaic tile comes in tiny 1-inch square units. It is often sold in large sheets that are attached to a mesh backer-board, making for easy and fast installation. These tiles can be mixed to create unique patterns and textures, and are very durable. One advantage of mosaic tiles is that they are colored all the way through, so a chip or crack will not be as visible as with ceramic tile. Granite. Granite tile is a natural stone product that is widely popular in kitchen decor. Tiles made from granite offer the beauty of natural stone at a fraction of the cost. Granite tiles often have a mottled surface that helps to hide dirt and fingerprints and are incredibly strong and long-lasting. Like all granite products, these tiles must be sealed after installation and at least once a year for the duration of their use. Quartz. Quartz tile is a manufactured product designed to look similar to granite while offering superior performance. It is made from crushed quartz crystals pressed together with resin. Quartz tile has a smooth and uniform surface with a consistent grain. It is slightly less expensive than granite and is much more durable and long-lasting. Unlike granite, quartz tiles do not need to be sealed. They are completely nonporous, which prevents bacteria from becoming trapped in the surface. Quartz cannot be repaired as easily as granite, however, and it offers none of the natural beauty and color variation of real stone. View All Tile Back to Guides Directory View All Tile
