We received these tiles promptly. Once installed in the shower and grouted...it looks even better than expected. Very happy with this purchase.Read More
This tile is really beautiful and it's high quality. The stones are durable and they stick to the backing really well. None of them fell off when I was laying the tile. I did have a few issues when laying it. First, the tiles are very thin. I laid these on a floor and I needed to use a lot of mortar to get the tiles up higher and the mortar squished through all the cracks and made a big mess. Luckily it came off of the tiles easily after it had dried. Second, the tiles don't fit together perfectly, so you can see lines around each square after you lay them. I suggest laying them with a gap between the tiles and fill in one by one with the small stones. I decided to use a light grout to camouflage the lines around the tiles, but then that took away from the beauty of the stone. A darker grout would enhance the stones. Overall, I'm really happy with these tiles. They are unique, smooth, and really good looking.Read More
I needed a pebble type tile for the floor of my shower. I had tried several different ones but they were all raised pebble which was very hard on the bare foot. I came across this one and it has proved to be a perfect pebble looking floor without the discomfort on the bare foot. The quality of the tile is great. I couldn't be any happier.Read More
These tiles arrived without any damage, and were installed very quickly. We ordered them as a facing around our fireplace, and I couldn't be happier with the color (very close to what is shown), the ease of separating the pieces to fill gaps, and the final look. I have not grouted them yet because I am taking the advice of other reviewers and trying to match the right linen-esque color. Overall, I am very pleased with the quality, price, and delivery of this product. It looks amazing around my fireplace!Read More
I was originally looking at the same tile in cobalt blue, but was worried it would be too bright for a bathroom floor just off my living room. I then decided I liked the Green Moss, but was still hesitant to make this type of purchase on-line. I then found the same tile at *** for almost $4 a sq ft more, so buying from Overstock.com (with almost no shipping costs) was a no brainer..... Things to think about - the tile is a lighter shade of green than the picture. I actually liked the color more once I got it. Pay attention to the point about the tile only being 11x11in (verses a sq ft), so you purchase the correct amount. Remember that the tile is not square, so lining up the pieces may be a challenge. The good news is that there is no set pattern and the pieces pull off, so it was easy enough to rip off a large piece and replace with a couple of smaller ones when things dont line up exactly as youd like. Because the color is so different than what you normally see in a tile, I tried a couple different grout colors before I finally ended up with an Antique White sanded grout. All in all I really like the results. Even though the color is relatively neutral, the unusual shape adds a great element of interest to the room without being overstated.Read More
I love this for my back splash in my kitchen. I actually purchased my first box from Homedepot and decieded to do a search to find it cheaper somewhere else and I found it on overstock. It is $10.00 cheaper per box on overstockRead More
I'm putting these in a shower floor. The color is a weathered grey green with amber and a watery-blue at the edges of some of the tiles. Be sure to measure since these are 11" square, not 12". I would definitely purchase these again.Read More
The mesh backing for these tile is applied with a glue. The glue is applied way too liberally, leaving almost no space on many of the tiles for the thinset used in installation to actually make contact with the tile. I am using these for an exterior installation and, after applying some 30 sheets, I think I have made a horrible error. Early on, I saw that the glue was spread too much on the back, so I started trying to make allowances by using more thinset and getting it to contact the sides of the tiles, but I do not think that is going to be enough, I fully expect much of this tile to fall off after a few short years. I spent good money on this product and a lot of time and I think now I have wasted it all. The tile itself is good quality but the mesh backing ruins it, unless you remove all the tile from the backing and apply then one by one.Read More
I used this tile in sort of an unconventional way. I painted my bathroom with sandstone textured paint. Then I took these tiles off the backing and I am sticking them individually to one accent wall behind the bathtub. They look amazing! I love it. It adds the perfect amount of accent to my bathroom without breaking the bank. They are much more pale green than the thumbnail picture. I think the zoomed picture is much more accurate to their actual color. Love them!Read More

Best Types of Tile for Kitchen Countertops
Tile kitchen countertops are an affordable alternative to traditional solid stone units. Countertop tile can be made from many of the most popular materials, such as granite or quartz, yet costs just a fraction of the price. Tile countertops are also easy to install and repair, making them the perfect project for the DIY homeowner. Shop Tiles ▸ Ceramic.Ceramic tile is made from natural clay that is baked to remove excess moisture. It is available in a wide variety of colors and designs that can be mixed and matched to any kitchen. Ceramic tile is affordable, easy to install and very low maintenance. It is also waterproof and able to withstand high temperatures from hot dishes. If you choose ceramic tile for your kitchen countertops, you should be aware that ceramic tile can crack or chip if heavy objects are dropped on it. To minimize grout stains, you can choose a dark grout and use a grout sealer to protect the seams from dirt. Mosaic.Mosaic tile comes in tiny 1-inch square units. It is often sold in large sheets that are attached to a mesh backer-board, making for easy and fast installation. These tiles can be mixed to create unique patterns and textures, and are very durable. One advantage of mosaic tiles is that they are colored all the way through, so a chip or crack will not be as visible as with ceramic tile. Granite.Granite tile is a natural stone product that is widely popular in kitchen decor. Tiles made from granite offer the beauty of natural stone at a fraction of the cost. Granite tiles often have a mottled surface that helps to hide dirt and fingerprints and are incredibly strong and long-lasting. Like all granite products, these tiles must be sealed after installation and at least once a year for the duration of their use. Quartz.Quartz tile is a manufactured product designed to look similar to granite while offering superior performance. It is made from crushed quartz crystals pressed together with resin. Quartz tile has a smooth and uniform surface with a consistent grain. It is slightly less expensive than granite and is much more durable and long-lasting. Unlike granite, quartz tiles do not need to be sealed. They are completely nonporous, which prevents bacteria from becoming trapped in the surface. Quartz cannot be repaired as easily as granite, however, and it offers none of the natural beauty and color variation of real stone. Shop Tiles See All Guides
Bed Sheet Thread Count Fact Sheet
The thread count of bed sheets refers to the number of threads per square inch of fabric. For example, if a square inch of fabric in a 300-thread count sheet with a standard weave were examined closely, 150 vertical threads and 150 horizontal threads would be counted, for a sum total of 300. The higher the thread count, the softer and smoother the sheets will be. Thread count is an important consideration to take when choosing a new set of sheets, but it should not be used as a sole indicator of quality. Equally important in choosing a bed sheet is the type and quality of the materials used as well as the fabric's weave.

Popular Types of Quilts
Out of all the bedding made, quilts may be the most diverse. Quilts are produced in all kinds of colors, patterns, sizes, styles and types. If you're looking for a quilt but don't know where to start, take a look at the popular types of quilts below to learn more about this beautiful kind of bedding. Amish quilts: These beautiful quilts reflect the Amish way of living and feature solid colors, deep hues, geometric patterns and very little embellishment. Amish quilts contain the highest quality of construction and stitching, and, sometimes, the wonderful stitch patterns (scrolls, feathers) contrast with the simple backgrounds of their quilts. Applique quilts: These quilts use a French needlework technique where fabric pieces are sewn onto another piece of material to create a design. Applique is used extensively in the quilting process and is not to be confused with patchwork. Patchwork pieces are joined together; applique is sewn on top of the whole piece. Baltimore album quilts: Baltimore album quilts came from Maryland in the early 1800s. Each block in the design of these quilts is appliqued differently, often in ornate floral patterns. Bangladeshi quilts: These quilts are made with layers of Saree cloth. Saree cloth is silk cloth used by women of India to wrap and fold around the body as a garment. The cloth is usually 40 to 60 inches wide by 6 yards long. These quilts are used as bedding or as decorative pieces. Bargello quilts: Bargello quilts are created with offset squares in an up-and-down geometric "V" pattern. The small squares of different fabrics and the colorful designs make these quilts true works of art. Hawaiian quilts: Hawaiian quilts are not pieced, and they usually showcase a large, symmetrical applique in the center of the quilt. Most often the background is white or another solid color. Patchwork quilts: Patchwork quilts are constructed of many small pieces of fabric which are put together in an improvised or irregular pattern. This is a well-known quilt style, and examples of historical patchwork quilts are found in many museums. Ralli quilts: Ralli quilts, sometimes known as rilli quilts, are traditional quilts made in India or Pakistan. There is an abundance of embroidery as well as applique on the patchwork patterns. Star quilts: Star quilts are created with a large star shape, or several star shapes, dominating the pattern. Wedding ring quilts: Wedding ring quilts are crafted in a design of interlocking rings. This pattern goes far back in history: in the fourth century it was used to decorate drinking cups in Rome. Wedding ring quilts are highly popular and make wonderful wedding gifts. If you're looking for a gift to please an engaged couple, you can't go wrong with a wedding quilt. Bedding always makes a significant gift for the bride and groom, and a quilt with coordinating Egyptian cotton sheets can be even better. View All Quilts Back to Guides Directory View All Quilts
