This tile is beautiful. We just had it installed in a very tiny, narrow bathroom, and it looks fantastic. By installing it horizontally, it made the room look wider. We put it on the floor and up the back wall. It is a soft taupe/tan color, with varying light and dark tones. The look is a bit like bamboo, but sleek and modern. We used linen color grout, and the paint on the walls is Martha Stewart Sisal. The look is harmonious and spa-like. I could not be happier with this tile! It does have a slight gloss to it, but it is subtle, not gaudy/shiny. My only complaint is the shipping. I have always had great experiences with shipping with Overstock, but the shipper they used this time was ***, and getting the tile delivered was a nightmare. Without anyone telling us, the shipper would not deliver without an appointment. So, even though the tracking showed the package had arrived in the area, we waited several days and nothing happened. Only after finally getting through via online chat at *** did we find out we needed an appointment. We left 6 messages over 2 days and no one called back. I finally threw a major fit thru online chat again, and the guy finally emailed the shipping dept on our behalf. They set up the appointment for the next morning and no one showed up. At 3pm that afternoon I called the shipping supervisor, who admitted that the delivery was supposed to come but they had no-show drivers. I fussed and told her my dilemma (contractors were showing up the next day to install the tile), and she finally made arrangements for a driver to come out that evening. So, a ton of trouble to get this tile to our house -- if you are given *** as the shipper, beware of the extra delivery time to expect.

This tile is great if you're looking for a sleek, contemporary, but not too gaudy designer look. The neutral colors of the tile serve to complement, as opposed to dominate, the look of your kitchen. They are a little tricky to install - because the tiles are held together by mesh, they can droop a little after you stick them to the wall, creating uneven spacing between tiles. You just have to back track from time to time to shift individual tiles back into place so they do not end up crooked when the mud dries. A little tedious, but worth it for the resulting look. I recommend using white grout on these tiles, which really brightens the look and makes the tile pop.
This is very nice tile. The colors are very accurate in the revised photo -- the greens referred to by other review was from an earlier version of the photo. It is a very attractive blend in beiges and creams. What is not obvious in the photo is that this is a glossy finish tile -- not what I expected in this sort of tile. Haven't installed it yet, so can't speak to that.
