We bought this handle set as a replacement for a QuickSet one that we had purchased in 2005, which had failed. This one seems to be better quality and will hopefully outlast the previous one. Looks nice on our Craftsman-style house.

the handle set was incomplete. It arrived wth a dummy knob instead of the actual knob needed for the set to oepn the door. I needed to contact the manufacturer to have the correct knob sent to me. Still waiting for it and cannot open my front door without it.

I purchased 2 handle sets a month ago and found both boxes came with wrong screws. After sending 3 emails and few times on the phone with Sureloc customer service, I still have NOT received the correct screws! My doors have NO handles for a long time!!

This is a solid set and I am very satisfied. The internals, deadbolt and latch are adjustable so the center of the piece can be different lengths from the wall. I lock and unlock this door quite often using the key and the internals seem durable and dependable.

When I ordered this producted I was specifically looking for a distressed silver finish (which is pretty hard to find) so when it arrived I loved the look of it and wanted up on my new front door. I should have known this was a bad product when i brought it to the locksmith to get some keys made- he asked were did I get this "cheap" product, he predicted that it would break in weeks. Well it lasted about 3 months. This product is overpriced and very bad quality. Don't let the great look of this product fool you!
