once again, a great find from overstock!
i have been searching for these chairs...the perfect ladderback chair that is tall, with a nice size seat, sturdy, yet affordable...and these are the chairs!! i ordered these from overstock after comparing the model number to other sites and confirming these are taller than overstock says (they are 42" tall - the proper height for these chairs!). when the package came (in just a few days!), i knew i would be pleased. i assembled them today - and it took about 20 minutes per chair (the first one was most difficult). you can screw the bolts in as far as you can with an electric screwdriver, then use the allen wrench for tightening. the wood is solid, and the chairs are heavy (solid not bulky). i highly recommend these chairs!

Excellent value
These chairs are quality furniture. I have been searching for four dining room chairs for my antique dark oak trestle table, and these are the ideal complement. I love the generous size of the seats; they definitely accommodate the average male comfortably. I ordered them on a Monday and received them Thursday. They arrived in perfect condition and were not difficult to assemble.

Price is right
The chairs were easy to assemble, and are exactly what we were looking for. My wife and I assembled 8 in less than 90 minutes. I used a cordless impact gun and a ratchet allen wrench. The only thing that I was disappointed at is, the company is in the Carolinas but the chairs are made in southeast Asia.

Love my new chairs!
I ordered these chairs on the Monday before I was having a rehearsal dinner for my son's wedding. They arrived on Wednesday. The only problem was that one of the seats on the chair was broken in half. Since I didn't have time to call and get a new seat, my husband who is handy glued the pieces together and made it work for our party. I called the next week and the customer service rep was very helpful and friendly and put in an order for a new seat. Several days later it arrived and the chair is perfect. I bought 4 of them but now I want to order 2 more so I have a set of 6. They are perfect for my oak table!

Solid and Beautiful Chairs
I ordered 4 sets of these chairs on a Friday and they arrived on the following Monday. Great delivery service. They are exactly what I wanted and much sturdier than I thought they might be. I love them. We incountered only one problem when we were putting them together. The drilled holes on the front part of the seats did not match up with the drilled holes on the frame. There was about a 4 inch difference. I called customer service and asked if we drilled our own holes in the seat to match those on the frame, would that void the 5 year accidental damage plan that I also bought. I was told that it would not void the plan and if we drilled the holes and it still did not work out, we could still return them. What Great Customer Service that is!!!

Great chairs!
I love these chairs! They arrived on time and are easy to put together. The first set I ordered arrived damaged and Overstock.com arranged to have them picked up and my new ones arrived the next week - no hassle and the sales associate was very friendly and helpful.

Really Nice Chairs
I really love the chairs! I purchased six! They really did not take long to assemble. Thats saying a lot for me, since I had never put anything together of this magnitude. My husband always did the tough stuff. However, I noticed that the wood was split where the spindle is at the top of one of the chairs. I called Overstock and am now in the process of waiting to see what will be done about it, since I have already put it together. Also, I found the packaging of the screws and bolts was very poorly done and some of them were lost in the handling. I had to go to Lowes and purchase what I needed, because I thought that would be faster - and it was. Now for the chairs, I think they are great, both quality and eye appeal! Really glad I purchased them!

Attractive and sturdy Chairs
These chairs are exactly what I have been looking for to match my dining room table. I was a little apprehensive about putting them together but it was easy and they are very sturdy and have a good weight to them. We use these chairs everyday so they need to be rock solid and so far so good. They look exactly like the picture so no surprises, the color (black) was even and the seats are a nice lite cherry. I definitely would recommend these chairs to anyone that needs chairs that are used by an active family. I was also pleasantly surprised by the shipping time, I ordered them on Monday night and they were at my door Thursday.
