MY KIDS LOVES IT!
This is an excellent choice for a youth loft bed. We purchased this for our 3 1/2 year granddaughter. It is strong and sturdy so I don't have to worry. She has had no trouble with the ladder and getting in or out of the bed. She was thrilled to get a "big girl's" bed and spends time playing under it as well as reading while laying on her loft. The height makes it perfect and will last many years. It is sturdy enough that I can even lay on it, holds up to 300 lbs! All in all, I give this bed a 5 star rating and recommend it to anyone out there wanting a high quality bed at a more than reasonable cost.

Good bed, but a bit of a hassle to put together
We got this bed for our four-year-old and he loves it. Since we also have a two-year-old, we also purchased a separate ladder to go with this loft bed, but the bed does have a ladder built in to the frame. The instructions are okay, but it gets a little confusing when you get to the point where you choose where the ladder goes. You can put it at either end of the bed, and the instructions have a different set for each end, but even though we were very diligent about following the pictures, we still ended up having some troubles. I'm sure it wouldn't be that hard for others, but I think we were worn out with it by the time we got to that part. The parts come in a labeled and compartmentalized bag and the pieces are all numbered for easy reference. We spent about three hours putting the bed together and another hour putting the table together. All in all, we're happy with the purchase and would buy it again, but we're also VERY happy we don't have to put it together ever again.
