These chairs are sturdy & look very nice. My only complaint is that there is a hairline crack in the seat & in one of the support pieces on one of the chairs, but it's not bad enough to make me want to send it back. I had no problem with any of the screws being too long. It didn't take long at all to get these chairs after I placed the order. They shipped very quickly. These chairs suit my purposes perfectly. If I needed any more, I would purchase this item again.

Very nice chairs. They go well with my table and I might even purchase two more if they are available still. The quality is decent and they style is very timeless.

A great buy. We are so happy I am going to buy another set. My husband did need to buy different screws - smaller than the one that came with the chairs but that was simple enough to do. Otherwise even he was pleased with how they turned out and how sturdy they are.

Love the chairs. Very sturdy and the style is great. I bought the chairs with the intention of scuffing them up and applying an antique glaze so that they would appear old (to better match with my antique dining table). Of the 4 chairs I purchased, one had been painted red and black (which was only apparent after I sanded off a bit of the white finish). Not a huge deal; it just makes the chair seem a bit less perfect, which is the style I was after anyway. Just a heads-up though.

These chairs are sturdy and match our white dining room perfectly. I read some of the reviews about screws popping out, but I didn't have that issues with any of the four chairs we purchased. One had an unfortunate paint chip, so I'll have to touch that up with a little paint. Minor. Otherwise, great chairs at a great price!

The chairs arrived in just 5 days, not to difficult to put together and look just as they do in the photo. I have to say I was a little disappointed that many of the pieces were scratched/gouged and 2 of the seat bottoms had splits them. With a little wood filler and touch-up paint they are as good as new. The chairs are substantial, sturdy, and quite comfortable. They make a wonderful addition to my kitchen.

Love these chairs, sturdy and stylish, but of the eight ordered I had to puzzle the pieces to get four perfect chairs. Problems were primarily the pre-drilled holes were badly aligned so the chairs did not fit together properly, poor finish on some of the seats, and one set suffered damage in transit. Despite returning two of the four sets ordered I'm tempted to order more because when they are right they can't be beat for the price!

The chairs arrived quickly and I was very pleased with their finish and size. Looked just as pictured and the best part was the construction which was sturdier than I expected.

Boxes arrived quickly and there was no damage - packaged very well. They were pretty easy to put together, but the screws provided were too long and pushed through one side. We had smaller screws on hand and used a little extra wood glue, patched the hole with a little putty and they were good as new. Overall we love the style and they go great in our new kitchen eating area.

I ordered 2 sets of these chairs for my kitchen table. They are perfect for a casual dining area, like my eat-in kitchen. They are easy to assemble, easy to clean and look great. I have found them to be comfortable and will only add chair pads for decorative purposes. One set was missing some hardware, but Overstock.com sent replacement hardware to me right away!

These chairs are exactly what I was looking for - and I spent alot of time searching. They are very sturdy, look expensive! They brighten up my kitchen and go perfectly with my glass-top table. Just one tip for assembling the chairs...buy more of the shorter screws as the longer ones poke through to the outside surfaces. I realized it before I poked a hole but it started to crack the outside finish. I was able to hide it easily with a little white paint, looks fine now. I then made a trip to the hardware store for shorter screws, no problems after that! Other than that, assembly wasn't bad at all. I highly recommend these chairs!!!

I'm pretty impressed with these chairs. They were fairly easy to assemble and are very sturdy. We aren't small people so we definitely wanted chairs that would hold up well. So far so good. They are heavy and substantial and seem like they will last a long long time. I like the finish on them as well. It will wipe up easily.

The chairs were easy to assemble and they fit perfectly around the white table I had previously purchased. Added the perfect amount of charm to my new dining room!

I love the chairs. I actually bought 3 sets of them. The only problem was one of the chairs did not have a couple of needed holes drilled in the front frame but fortunately I had the tools to do it myself.

These chairs are a great addition to our breakfast room. They are solidly constructed and a wonderful price. My only concern is in the assembly of the chairs, both seats have a gap of about 1/2 inch near the seat back. Otherwise, these chairs support adults and children alike and have a great cottage style...

Finish is a little rough, but the chairs look great and are very sturdy. Require assembly with power drill/screw driver. Packaged pretty well for shipping.

I am so happy with these chairs. As always, delivery was prompt and CHEAP...hurray for Overstock!These chairs are as sturdy as other reviewers have mentioned, and they are so crisp-looking and pretty. A nice feature is that they already come with the little glide thingies to keep from scratching your wood floors. And even without cushions they are super comfy to sit on.The only reason they do not get 5 stars across the board is that they are a bit tedious to assemble. No pre-drilled holes so you'd better be sure to have a power screwdriver on hand. Other than that, no complaints. Would definitely buy again and would most definitely recommend to others. These are not "temporary" furniture...you'll have them for some time.

These are beautiful. Even more than I expected. They matched my daughters table perfectly. They are very sterdy & heavy. The price was fantastic so was able to get four instead of just two chairs. Thank You Overstock!
