Solid Wood 61-inch Double-sink Bathroom Vanity Set

We are renovating 2 bathrooms and need to save money wherever we can, but still do a high end renovation. I was very hesitant to order a vanity online, not being able to see and feel the product made me VERY nervous. I decided to order this vanity for our hall bathroom, and if I was satisfied with the quality, I would order another for the master bath. Well, the vanity is installed and is really really nice. I am extremely happy with this purchase and I did order another Design Element vanity for our master bath (the Galatian). I don't rate this 5 stars for a few reasons which I will elaborate on below, but I can tell you that if I was only rating value, this would get 6 stars! I had shopped around for vanities for this renovation and looked at all of the big box stores, and many high end design centers. The price and value of this vanity cannot be beaten anywhere (though if you search, you may find the same unit a bit cheaper at other sites, but with club O and the 5% rebate overstock is the best!). What I found in terms of overall quality is why this vanity loses a star or two. Don't get me wrong, this is a very well made piece of furniture, and I am TOTALLY happy with my purchase, but if you are expecting a truly high end furniture quality piece, you may be slightly disappointed. By that I mean the drawers aren't dovetailed, and the drawer slides, while very nice stainless steel ball bearing slides, aren't the ultra high end concealed and self closing type. The doors are self closing, but the self closing hinges are mid range hinges. The only real issue I had was that the epoxy that holds the screw clip for the sink into the countertop came out while installing the sink. Not a big deal to epoxy it back, and my contractor says this happens all the time with Chinese made products, again it was a very easy fix, but it is something to realize. Also, I did not use the faucets that came with the vanity mainly because I wanted faucets that matched my shower fixtures, but the faucets looked fine, again, not high end, but the same that you would find at any big box store, I also find it VERY odd that the faucets don't match the finish of the handles on the vanity. With that said, again I have to say that I love this vanity. I looked at the big box stores and they can't even come close on the price. The only comparable vanity I could find at the big boxes that was close to this one was about $$$$$ and DIDN'T include the countertop or sinks!!! The countertop is fantastic, the marble looks custom and beautiful, and the sinks are fine simple porcelain sinks. What I found at the high end design centers was that a custom vanity like this would run me about $$$$$ plus countertop and sinks (and faucets and mirror). They also sell what they call "international" vanities which means vanities imported from China (just like this one). They started around $$$$$, plus countertop and sink which would be about another $$$$$-$$$$$. The fact that this vanity comes with everything and is so nice makes it an outstanding value and I highly recommend it! My contractor could not believe that it came with EVERYTHING including a huge and beautiful matching mirror. As long as you understand what you are buying you will be extremely happy with this purchase.
