Solid Thermal Insulated 108-inch Blackout Curtains

We had tried multiple brands of black-out curtains and we are very pleased with this brand. We will certainly purchase these for our infant's bedroom this summer. These curtains do not stink, are nice looking, and they actually black out the room. I work on rotating shifts and these have helped my sleep schedule immensely. I have recommended this brand to my co-workers. All around, great purchase!

I was so excited when these arrived -- the color (beige) was very light and neutral, they draped beautifully, and were actually long enough to pool slightly despite our taller 9' ceilings. I purchased these curtains to block out light and (hopefully) noise from our master bathroom from going into the master bedroom, because there is no door between the two rooms. When one person is sleeping and the other getting ready in the morning or night, it is difficult. When we hung the curtains, closed them, and turned out the light in the bedroom, both me and my husband just started laughing! SO much light goes through them that I find the product claims of blocking 99.9+% of light COMPLETELY UNTRUE. We even bought a special curtain rod that wraps the ends of the curtains to the wall, designed specifically for blackout curtains. Nonetheless, when my husband stood behind the curtain with the bathroom light on, I could see his silhouette right through the curtains. Then we haved and I could see him raise his arm and wave! Umm... BLACKOUT curtains? How ridiculous. The curtains also provide NO sound insulation at all. The sink being turned on with the curtains closed or open sounds exactly the same. These curtains are made of a single layer of medium weight polyester that seems quite ordinary (seems like the same material you could easily buy pants made out of). Perhaps we would get slightly better mileage with blocking out light if we selected a dark color, I do not know. However, if they make a light color and still have the same product claims, it should work as advertised. These are going back! They are pretty curtains, but they do not function as blackout curtains. Save your money, time, and hassle.

I ordered these for my son's nursery, which has a wall full of windows. The room is always too hot or too cold--much different than the rest of the house. We noticed a difference in the temperature almost immediately. They block light extremely well. They are also very pretty. They do have a kind of sheen or something to them, but it makes them look to be higher quality. I was nervous when I saw them in the package (they looked very plain), but once we got them hanging, I was really very pleased. VERY happy that we bought them here. They are an unbeatable price.

In advance of the summer blast of heat in my contemporary (too many windows) home, I have been buying these for every room. These will qualify for energy credits on taxes. I pair them with honeycomb black out blinds for maximum heat blockage. This combo also works to keep heat in during our harsh winters. The fabric is heavy and luxurious feeling. I run them through two cycles on my steam touch up cycle in my dryer prior to hanging. That's it. I wish they had more colors and prints available. I've been dressing them up with valances in some of the living areas. I love these and will buy them as long as they are offered. Another plus to these, they glide easily to open after the worst of the sun has passed to enjoy your views.
