The carpet is great and looks good
Carpet is good looking if you are looking for a shag with a medium pile. Not too thick. Excellent for kids rook.

Okay but not quite SHAG
I was going to give this rug a poor review but then I realized that, well, you kind of get what you pay for. It's okay in quality. I had to vacuum it three times to get it to fluff up and had to be careful how I set down the furniture on it because it's not very thick and the bottom padding can show through if it's pulled by a chair leg or table, etc. For now it will do. It's not a rug that's impressive or really an actual shag (because real shag rugs are much fuller, thicker and fluffier) but it's kind of like the equivalent of a junior shag rug. Soft - yes. Not overly smelly. Delivered wrapped in plastic and took some time to straighten and fluff with vacuum. For the money, it's really all one can expect. Color is a deep milk chocolate brown and consistent throughout.

- Please tell us about the quality of the product. It's just a thin rug but it's okay for the money. There is a shag quality but a real shag rug is more more shaggy and full. This is okay for a starter shag.

It's alright
Overall for $75 I guess I can't complain, but I was certainly hoping for a softer and basically nicer rug than I received. My husband and I plan on replacing it down the road, but it will do for now.
- How did the color on site compare with the actual product? The color seemed fine and was pretty much what I expected
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. The quality is not very good. The binding on the edge of the rug was not done well and is not sewn correctly on one corner. The rig itself is kind of a cheap yarn feel

Very nice rug at this price point
This is a great rug for this price point....as another reviewer mentioned, the shag could be 'shaggier', but it is fine as is. I had actually seen the same carpet in a different color at a friend's house, so I knew what I was getting before I ordered it. I have a dark wood laminate floor in my DR and I bought the Chocolate colored rug...it looks great....it replaced a round rug under my table, and I am very pleased with the new look. Another great product from Overstock!
