These are the softest curtains! High quality and substantial fabric that drapes beautifully (more like drapes than curtains), yet they really do block out ALL the light. They also seem to do a good job of insulating the bedroom where I sleep on the second floor, which is more affected by outside temperature changes than the downstairs bedroom. The width of the fabric is generous and blocks the entire width of the window, which was not the case with thermal curtains I bought a year ago at a big box retail store. These are a great value for the price. I would say you can't go wrong with them!

I ordered two sets of these curtains for our teenage son and daughter's rooms. One set was black and one was navy. We are very pleased with both. The curtains looks nice (which makes me happy) and completely block out the light from our southeast-facing bedroom windows (which pleases the teenagers).

Some thermal backed curtains are kinda stiff. These are not! The fabric is soft and doesn't look inexpensive. After a week or two they did stretch in length almost 2" (which is not unusual) and now rest on the carpet. They still hang nicely and look great. If you are looking for privacy and/or light control these panels get the job done. I have them in dark brown and it is a rich color. Two pairs covered my patio door well.

I have 3 pairs of these drapes in different rooms that I bought 3 years ago. They are excellent; they save me money on my air conditioning, they wash very well in the machine. No shrinkage or any other problems. I'm considering buying another pair in a different color as soon as I can..

I purchased these curtain panels to block out the light being a day sleeper. I was very disappointed in the quality of the product. There were areas where the fabric was thin and it let light through. I ended purchasing a second set locally where I had no troubles with light coming through.

The blackout drapes do exactly that - blackout light. I'm not a fan of having the opportunity to sleep late and I actually missed my first appointment yesterday because I slept in. They look elegant on my windows and I'm perfectly satisfied.

I first ordered the dark blue panels for my guest room and I was quite surprised at the quality of these beautiful panels. And two panels for the price of one! The panels are a beautiful durable material and not thin at all nor are they too heavy however do well blocking the light as much thicker blocking panels I have bought in the past. The dark blue matched the guest room perfectly! And are extremely well made and durable. I quickly ordered the light blue panels for my bedroom and of course arrived at my doorstep right away! A perfect match once again! There is no need to worry about the panels being different lengths as I have seen ordering online with other companies. However, there is no lining, but there is no need for one. They look high quality just the same. I know it sounds a bit silly, but I was so happy after putting them up in my bedroom I was ecstatic with my choice once again. Just perfect! They keep out the light, as well as look beautiful with no ironing necessary! There are 2 panels per package and in addition they come with patching pull backs which are an added bonus because it is not mentioned in the description. Don't worry a bit if you are considering these panels, you will not be disappointed.

I have the biege ones, but as far as blacking out the light goes...they do a better job than most regular curtains, but light still comes through. I think a dark color would be better if your decor can use it. I have them coupled with a light filtering blind and with the both of them, light still gets through. It is a lot better than just the blind that only filters light, however, and at least we can sleep now. It looks better than putting a blanket over the window, ha ha.

I purchased these curtains for a very bright bedroom. The curtains provide excellent coverage from the light and backyard noises. I purchased the 'beige' and the curtains I received are a true beige color (not too light ... not too dark). The beige picture of the curtains look more like ivory on my monitor but the actual color is slightly darker. The fabric is durable, yet soft and feels almost like 'suede' without the suede look! Very, very nice pair of thermal drapes! I thought they were rod-pocket, but they are not. They have tabs attached to the back where you run the rod through. This allows you to let them hang straight and makes it very easy to open and close them instead of using the tie backs.

These curtains are beautiful. I had ordered a pair several months ago and decided that I would like to put these on another window. They are luxurious. Great quality. Buyers beware: I accidentally purchased more then I needed so returned one set and Overstock is charging me for 'the return label'. While this is the second time in a few weeks that I've had service issues with Overstock I think from now on I'm going to see if I can find what I like/want on this site and then shop on elsewhere. You're losing a good customer Overstock.
