I was very happy with the placemats and napkins. They were larger than I expected and I was happy about that. I'd tried finding this color or something simliar for my mother-in-law. Hard to find this time of year and I shopped around alot: online and by foot. The color choices are amazing. May buy some for myself soon.

I bought thses placemats to use at my kitchen table, since it's wood we pretty much leave placemats on it all the time, I found these to be a good weight but they do not wash well at all !!!! I don't know how other people say that they do. I agree with the person that said they shrunk, because they do, and it came out of the washer in a complete ball !!! I tried drying them flat as recomended and also in the dryer, both times they dried all wrinkled and had to be pressed, all that work for a placemat ?? I have better ones that wash & dry beautiful with no extra effort.

The first time I put one in the washing machine, it shrunk to 1/2 the size..... and stains do not come off easily. I have others that wash beautifully , no ironing. NOT THESE

The placemats I purchased were a dark eggplant color and a little larger than expected. The quality of fabric was satisfactory, but they arrived very wrinkled. Unfortunately, they are not color-safe. Purple water rings, from where the water glasses sat, were left behind on the white table cloth that was under the placemats. I would not buy this product again.

If you never need to wash them they are fine but to have them look half way decent, they must be professionally laundered. I spent hours trying to iron them only to have them took terrible. I would never buy these again. The napkins are only a little better.

I purchased 144 of these placemats for outdoor use on a deck. They are definately not made for commercial use. I was looking for a much thicker placemat, a heavy cotton weave mat. These must be ironed after each washing as they are very wrinkled right out of the dryer and shrink by 2+ inches all around on the first wash. Might be good for home use but know they are very light and will blow off the table in an outdoor wind.

These are very nice placemats. They are a nice weight and true to color. Have not had to wash one yet so don't know how they will hold up.

They look beautiful. havent had to wash yet, but hopeful they will ba as nice after a wahsing. Great red color and I like the bigger size...

We go through placemats like crazy at my table. Lots of Spills! Not only were these a GOOD price but they are colorful, sturdy and hold up well in the wash. I will buy more in other colors.

Beautiful set of placemats. Wonderfully hemmed and lay flat. Color received is representative of those on-line. Good value. I would highly recommend this product as well as the co-ordinating napkins.

I haven't had a chance to use and wash the placemats yet, but I was very pleased with the initial inspection of the product. They are definitely oversized!

Arrived very quickly and look good. Just not a color I would call Gold - more beige. The edges and stitching are quite visible and you can only use the mats one side. Good value for the money for those of us who entertain.

They are a good weight, color is perfect, but we have yet to find a way to wash them and make them presentably flat for the table again.

I purchased these placemats and matching napkins to do some machine embroidery to make them super special for a friend. They came out beautifully. They are sturdy, the color is even and not 'blotchy' and they took to the machine embroidery like a dream.

I was pleased withthe placemats. Nice and fresh and a welcome change to the table.
