Solid Hardwood 3-piece Coffee Table/ End Table Set

We needed a new coffee table and found this set, and we are using those 2 end table as night stand in our master bedroom. Assembly was easy, with instruction, no part was missing, but getting parts out of the heavy box was a bit sweaty work. Also, million pieces of broken form core were everywhere and was a bit hard to clean-up. But I did it by myself with a little help of my 3-year-old son. The tables all look nice and expensive, but some parts are damaged (not be seen parts, so not big deal) and the side panels has big gap, so the skinny bars are not touching the base, you cannot see from distance, but more than 1/2" gap. The color look just like the photo on the web, a bit too shinier than I expected. I prefer more natural wood texture, but the varnish coat is thick, so it won't scratch, like some of furniture I have. They are very heavy and sturdy enough for my big husband to put his feet on. I LOVE the end tables too. Quality is good for the price!

The table set is a GREAT value for the price and worth every penny, but it came packed in a lot of styrofoam which is not recyclable in this area of Illinois. Overseas manufacturers will not stop using styrofoam packaging materials unless buyers like Overstock insist that they use recyclable products to package.

These are beautiful tables and exactly the style I was looking for. But 2 of the 3 tables had damage, cracks, poor workmanship on the underside. I was able to repair them and you can't tell the differance, but I am a little concerned how long they will last. Overall, I think it is a good buy if you don't mind using a couple extra nails.

These are very nice looking coffee tables. They are heavy and it only took me about 30 minutes to put these together. They are just the sizes that I've been looking for and they really can make a room look nice.
