these placemats are exactly as described and the price decries the quality you receive. I was fearful of what I would get for the price but they were heavyduty and construction better than anticipated. Not colorfast and advise you launder solo for first few needed times. Also spread dry to help insure less wrinkles you would get from dryer. This is applicable to the red color which I selected...you will be pleased with your purchase.

I like these placemats as alternates. After several washings, they look just fine and lay flat. There were plenty of them so using them for everyday is no problem. I would recommend these placemats to someone looking for placemats that come in a wide variety of colors, lay flat, and wear well.

These are durable, and seem to be well made, but be prepared for the color to run in the wash.

I wanted yellow and a brighter red. Now, seeing the actual color, I'm glad for the "redwood" shade. I'd still like the yellow also but -- oh well.

This product is excellent for the $. Because they are 100% cotton you must wash them in cold water on gently by themselves and DO NOT DRY. Lie flat and touch up with an iron and they'll be fine. If you want something you can wash easily and throw in the dryer these are not the items for you.

These were nice until I laundered them and then they fell apart and made such a mess inside my wash machine, ug what a waste of time to clean it up.

I am very happy with the placemats that I purchased. Even though I could not be positive of the color, they match my dining room decor perfectly. The quality is excellent and I know that they will hold up to daily use!

These place mats are exactly what I wanted - an alternative to a tablecloth for more casual dining. The mats are not extremely thick and not intended to be used as a trivet. They are generously sized - plenty of room for a full place setting and drink glass on one mat. I ordered a dozen in berry and liked them so well, I returned to order another dozen and they were out of berry (a deep, rich burgundy) so I ordered redwood and am waiting for them to arrive. I have not washed any of these yet and imagine they will shrink and/or curl when I do.

The placemats I ordered were excellent in color, quality, size, price, and delivery speed. I am totally satisfied with the purchase.

So far I'm happy with these placemats, however, I have not washed them yet. I ordered them in the red color and they are just as I expected them be, its a beautiful rich color. They are of average thickness, just like you find at ********* I'm sure they will require a little ironing after washing- I've owned a similar set before (purchased at******* for way more money) and I had to iron them. No biggie. I'm satisfied so far.

I have been looking for replacements for my breakfast placemats. I own a B&B and need a large quantity but all the wholesale vendors for my industry where not exactly what I was looking for and ridiculously expensive. I took a chance on these and they are perfect. The color is true to image on website. They are thick and not skimpy in dimensions. The price plus free shipping cannot be beat!

Love them, purchased both the placemats and the napkins as a gift. The receiver complimented on both that they were great, washed well and were of a good size.

Sturdy, thick, deeply colored. Only thing is when you wash them they shrink about 1-2 inches. But does the job of protecting my table beneith.

I have been looking for an attractive place mat to use on a daily basis for our table. Everything I have looked at was wrong, until I saw these mats. I ordered a set and am thrilled with them. They have been washed several times; have not had the color run; and although I have not put them in the dryer, I think I could with a minimum amount of wrinkles. I am very pleased with the order.

The placemats are just ok, I expected much more because of the coments on the site but they disapointed me, too thin, i will have to use them by 2 to put hot stuff on my table !!!

These placemats to me are more like "formal napkins". I still like them and am keeping them, but am using them as napkins instead.

You simply can't beat these placemats for value. Even my husband was impressed. I would definately recommend these to my friends. The color was true to the color chart and they launder well. What's not to like?

I loved these when they first arrived: however, after the first wash they looked wretched. They have already begun to unravel and are not decent for use with guests. To prepare them to even be decent enough for even the family took so much time that a profound hate for them developed. The price was awesome, but I did get even less than what I paid for.
