We recently ordered this bench and are thrilled with it. It is exactly as it looks. The wood and workmanship is very high quality. The photo is a great representation of how it really looks. The wood is definitely oak and the etching in it just makes it so rich! Also it was wrapped in layers and layers of bubble wrap on the outside also. We were worried because was raining the day it was delivered, but no problem. We love it and would highly recommend it!

I must admit I was very surprised by the level of quality on this piece. I had anticipated the wood being thinner, the details perhaps not as pronounced, the assembly to be less solid, or the piece not really appearing it's measured size. I was wrong in my anticipations. This is a very attractive, solid piece whose physical size is very reasonable (it's not a tiny bench at all). Assembly was easy and straight forward with no surprises. I've created furniture from scratch and will say this...follow the recommendations provided as I did by NOT tightening everything as you go. I took my time, loosely fitted all the pieces, then worked my way around it all tightening a little more each time. This process only adds a few minutes to assembly and ensures everything is square and aligned. You get a really nice product in the end. Overall we are very pleased with it and have had numerous comments already regarding it's style and size.

purchased this for my daughter for christmas. This piece of furniture is absolutely beautiful, very heavy, wood detail stunning and the paisley fabric was very very rich looking. We needed something at the foot of our bed and this fit the bill! It is a solid oak piece, very sturdy, and absolutely beautiful! Great price for the quality we received. After much looking for a hallway bench, I was hesitant to purchase such a product online due to expense of returning it. However I bit the bullet after reading favorable reviews, and I'm happy I did. The bench is beautiful, a combination of burgundy/gold/touch of black in a sort of paisley pattern. The legs are unusual in their shape and are noticed by everyone. The bench arrived well packed and it took my husband 5 minutes to assemble, anyone can do it. I read prior reviews that the legs don't attach well, but that is not my finding. The bench is very sturdy. I am very happy I took the chance. The price was great especially with free shipping or even $2.95 shipping. I've been looking around and have seen flimsier benches for much more. Hope this helps.

Ordered the bench to fit into a recess 46" wide. Unfortunately the bench is actually 47" wide. I love the bench and it looks great, but I cannot use as wanted. After unpacking and completely assembling by myself (a little old lady), I did not want to have to reverse the procedure to send back. Now have positioned it on an angle, but unhappy with the look. If measurements were correct, I would give it 5 stars.

The bench is beautiful and well made with Solid Antique looking Oak. It's very easy to assemble. (About 10 mints) The Bench seems extremely sturdy due to the workmanship and solid wood it made of. I just love it~ the valus/ price ...GREAT!!

I really like the bench. It was very easy to put together and is rock solid. I especially like the the little floral designs on the leg tops and bottoms. The only thing that was a tad misleading was the color. When I first looked at the piece, the darker colored looked dark brown or light black. When I received it, the color is actually burgandy. Not a deal breaker, just would have preferred either of the other two colors. None the less, the bench looks great in our foyer and blends in well with the decor. Very happy that we made the purchase.

Not only was this bench exactly as pictured, it was packed with great quality and care. Simple assembly. The seat is a bit firm, but otherwise great!

This bench looks so nice in our bay window. We wanted a bench to sit on to put on our shoes. It is the perfect height and width just as described in description. The fabric is nice looks very sturdy and the wood finish is beautiful.

I really like this bench, it is currently being used as a coffee table. I placed a sturdy tray on top of the bench and it works very well in front of my sofa. When I decide that I want to use it as a bench I will remove the tray and place the bench in front of the windows in my living room. A very good buy.

I was alittle hesitant to order this bench, but I read the reviews and it seemed OK...so I took the plunge and ordered it. It came unassembled and I put it together myself without the help of my husband. Once assembled it worked great for the end of my bed. My only complaint is that the cushion part is so hard.....I have some other leather chairs made in China and they always seem to make the seat so hard, it is not comfortable and all but I don't care because I am basically using it for decorative reasons.

This bench is not a lightweight! It's made of heavy, solid wood with a beautiful fabric seat. The feet stick out a little too far and I've stubbed my toes more than once. It didn't take long to put together but was a little awkward for one person to put together, simply due to the weight of the pieces. I use it every day and am very happy with this bench.

I ordered this bench based on the other overwhelmingly positive reviews. It's fabulous. The upholstery is rich and expensive looking. The carved legs are beautiful. I can't believe I paid less than $$$ for it. Assembly was easy. I don't think my husband even needed to look at the included directions. Delivery was very fast, too. We use the bench as extra seating or as a long footstool. It's very versatile and makes a handsome addition to a room.
