Solar Bronze Roller Window Shade (18 in. x 72 in.)

Im am sorry to report a negative experience because I love Overstock, but I was very disappointed with this purchased-I returned it and received my credit in full :)

I love this shade and the price is amazing......however I was hoping for some night time privacy and this provides none. It is really a solar shade IMO. I am going to add a bright light outside my door in hopes of getting more privacy. In the daytime you get great privacy. I have to add that the chain on this is blackish metal color and not plastic, I looked at local stores and most shades had plastic cords and were triple the price.

This shade is great! The picture indicates a dark grey, but it is called bronze. Believe me it is neither. It is black or dark charcoal, but sheer, not opaque. I had wanted to use some kind of black in my kitchen but I was afraid it would make it too dark. These work perfectly, It lets daylight in, but blocks an outside view. It took a little while to figure out how to install. As with all this stuff, instructions are minimal. Love em, love em

This roller blind seems decently made but the hardware and less than lucid instructions make installation painstaking. There are two end pieces that must be positioned "just so" and the slim leaflet gives barely one paragraph of instruction. An installation template would be a simple improvement and a one piece hardware solution would be great. As such, since no window openings are exactly horizontal or vertical, with flaring or unevenness common in cinder-block construction, there has to be precise leveling and shimming of the end pieces for a good fit; perhaps wood-frame housing up north would have an easier installation.
