Good Bed, Some things you should know
I received this bed about a week after I had ordered it, in three large boxes. They were well packed, with no damage and all parts present. My husband likes to perform flying leaps onto the bed, and at 6'5'' and 230lbs, the metal frame the matress was on wasn't cutting it anymore. This bed is in the same style as the Tribecca, Vermont and Milton (I suspect the same suplier). It is a platform bed, which you can't tell from the photo. The color is a little darker than the photo, but it's fairly close. The bed is solid, with eight total feet supporting the frame, though I wish the headboard were a little thicker. Many reviewers of the Tribecca, Vermont and Milton mentioned difficulty in putting the bed together. I am fairly handy with tools, but I assembled the bed in about two hours and only needed a second pair of hands to fit the rails into the headboard and footboard. I am a little worried about disassembly when having the move the bed, which we will because we're a military family, so I did not glue all the parts together. All in all, the assembly looked more daunting than it actually was. Overall, the bed is pretty solid, though not everything I was hoping for. I gave it four stars because I was hoping for a bed that I could use a boxspring on (no where is the description online does it mention that it's a platform bed, the color was a littler darker than I had hoped for and the head board is a little less substantial than I hoped for. The price was comparable to discount furniture stores when the shipping fee was factored in. It will probably become the guest bed after the next move.

Soho Queen Bed
I am in the bedding industry but bought this bed from overstock because it was a great value. The product itself is well made and far better quality than many of the products with which I deal. I did not list the ease of assembly at 5 stars, not because of any problems with the product, but because the assembly is so thorough that it is time consuming - but you can be assured that it will last. A great product and an excellent value.

soho bed
bed arrived within 5 days was a little darker than the picture reveals... was moderately difficult to assemble but pretty strait foward, assembly kit comes with small tube of super glue (that ran out quick) but i opted to go get a tube of elmers wood glue for the wooden dowles that are required, very good construction well made solid when completed... bed works great with box spring lots of clearance underneath.. i was surprised with the quality and when put together right it is extremely sturdy..overall a great deal... the only draw back is im not sure how one would take it apart if you had to move .. between the glue on the dowles that hold the bed together and the hex head anchor bolts that were kinda tough to get at to install i think this bed would be really hard to take apart... but overall very impressive really looks nice and feels very sturdy

DO NOT BUY
I just recently had to throw my soho bed in the trash after two years of agony from this bed. Its poor construction forced me to go to a lumber yard to buy wood slates to re-enforce the bed. It was a nightmare from day one. Do not buy this bed. Even more disgusting is that I purchased this bed when it was $100 more expensive. TAKE MY ADVICE AND DONT BUY!!!!!

Constructive thoughts
I feel the workmanship is excellent however I would recommend a better shipping quality control system because I was missing 1/2 of the skews necessary to attach the cross support braces..... Thumbs up on the rest!

soho products are real wood & great value
These products are a great value for the money. The assembly time is not much of a fator when you consider the quality (solid wood product) for the price. Assembly was not difficult once you understand the principles. I highly recomend these products, this is my second one the first being a nioght stand. Plan on buying more for my bedroom.

you get what you pay for
although this is a handsome bed, the quality of the materials is substandard. We noticed that the headboard and footboard had deep marks which we thought initially were the grain of the wood. As the pieces were assembled and moved around, those grains not only split, but both the footboard and head board split apart from top to bottom. Because it took so long to assemble the side pieces to those two pieces and the rails to the head and foot, we didn't want to go through disassembling and repackaging it for a return. There are 8 screws that are difficult to screw in due to their position and small amount of space for the tool that is provided. We are hoping that wth all of the pieces together and the mattress on top, that the bed will stay together. So far, it has. The other reviews mention that the box spring cannot be used with this bed, that is true. It places the mattress too high and covers up all of the footboard and most of the headboard.

Exceeded our expectations
This is a beautiful bed. It is the most solid bed we've ever owned. We're doubtful that one person could easily assemble this on her/his own, but the two of us managed it. Our daughter found it on Overstock.com and sent us the link. It's almost identical in style to a $1,000 department store bed we watched for months, waiting for a price reduction that never came. The wood is especially beautiful, and we're happy to read that this type of wood is typically a managed, renewable resource. We would not hesitate to recommend this bed to anyone.
