Bed fell apart after 4 months, only 1 person using
Bed was easy to assemble, used instructions, and I am experienced assembling furniture for 5 yrs..... Side rail bracket has tiny screws poor construction. The bed collapsed and the screws popped out. The4 corner brackets are too small for the size of the bed. King size is not worth the purchase. The bed will fall apart after 4 months. The frame and brackets are no good. The support rails seem to be ok, and holding up but the frame itself looks lovely but is very weak in how they engineered the corners - it gave out on its own under normal use with one person average size sleeping on it. I am only 5 feet 5 inches and not heavy. I am very disappointed and need to get a new bed now, again, after only 4 months

Soho Basic Platform Eastern Espresso Bed
I am so thrilled I decided to purchase this King size platform bed. Unlike some of the reviews, we received all of the hardware necessary to assemble the bed. Assembly was extremely easy...helps to have a second person to assist for a good snug fit. Once assembled, the bed is extremely sturdy. The 4 center supports really added to the strength and support of the bed. I don't agree with the comments in the other reviews regarding "toe-stubbing"...the risk is there with any bed!!! I used an 11" memory foam mattress with the platform bed and the combination is perfect...not too low to the ground and not too high! I would definitely purchase this bed again and give it a great recommendation!

legs stick out
This platform is what I expected - except the legs which are somewhat in line with the side rails, are completely in front of the foot and head rails. It makes them easy to trip over. I have some other platform beds purchased elsewhere and the legs are flush with (and under) the rails. I guess I was expecting this kind of construction.

Soho Basic Platform Bed
This bed disintegrated -- and I mean splintered literally in HALF -- in less than six months. This was my daughter's college bed and it was a COMPLETE WASTE -- didn't even last a single year ... I am beyond disgusted with the "quality" of this product. Do NOT buy it!

Basic but incredibly functional
Very basic - no frills, but easy to install and a good fit for our new memory foam mattress Gotta watch out for those little posts at the bottom of the bed - I keep cutting the corner short and dinging my shins Other than that - no issues I was looking for somthing very utilitarian and got it

I purchashed this bed about a week ago.it was delivered a day early so that was nice! Very nice finish, very sturdy(my husband and i are not small people!) and extremly easy to put together.

Another Crappy Platform Bed
I was hesitant to purchase another platform bed after our first busted after less than two years. But that one was from a big box store (that sells Swedish meatballs) and so I just assumed it was because all of their stuff has a life of about two years anyway. The reviews on this were good, so I thought I would give it a try. We're coming up on two years now, and this bed has gone the way of the other bed. The support legs underneath the middle of the bed slide out anytime we get in the bed or roll over and you can feel the middle of the bed sink down. I have to crawl under the bed every night before I get in and reposition the support legs. It is on carpet, so it's not like they're slipping on hardwoods - which they shouldn't do either. Crap. Glad I didn't pay a whole lot for this and that I purchased the warranty.

great little platform
Perfect for a low-but-not-too-low platform. I'll be adding a headboard later. Wasn't hard to put together, but a little tricky, and plan on spending some time. But afterwards, it's a very sturdy bed. I've had several of these, and this one is plenty strong, no jiggling. Great price and style.

Looks great but doesn't hold up at all
upon first deliver of this bed (queen size) there were huge splits in both side boards and a chunk out of one of the legs, rendering it completely useless. Overstock has amazing customer service and sent out a replacement box right away but it was still annoying to wait another week with the other half of the bed (along with everything i was planning on storing under) taking up space in my tiny apartment. but nothing to really complain about since everyone was very nice and apologetic. upon assembly i realized that it's impossible to affix the slats to the frame. the slats have holes but not the ledge that's attached to the frame. i tried the screws through anyway. no go. i tried making holes in the ledge but it's so small and the wood so soft it started to split and i didn't want to damage anything. 6 months later.... one of the slats has completely snapped in half. 2 of the "support" legs have broken off, the screws holding them on bent into an L shape and were cheap i literally bent it back with my thumb. EVERY night i have to put the slats back in place that have slid out of place. it's completely ridiculous. i weigh 125 pounds and have been very gentile with this bed. the only thing i could have possibly done wrong is move it (for rearranging purposes) 3 times. it's pretty much a piece of crap. probably fine for a guest bedroom or somewhere it won't get much use, i can also see how it would be fine in twin size.
