We have had this comforter set for a couple of weeks now. It is a more golden color than tan color, but looks very elegant on our queen size bed! My husband even loves it! Not too girlie at all.
Have purchased several other comforter sets and I do know that the 'colors' don't always look the same but I was really disappointed in this one. To me the pattern was mostly tiny stripes and definitely GOLD & BROWN. Didn't go with my daughter's taupe color scheme at all. The comforter is nice and fluffy, if you are using it 'just for looks' and the color is good for you then it is OK. If you plan on using it on a regular basis, the fabric feels like it will start pulling apart. Definitely SHINY and slippery! Definitely not kid friendly .. even in mom & dads room!
I was very happy with this set. There is nothing that I do not like about it. It is the most favorite of bedroom sets I have bought. It is very elegant and at the same time, it is very comfortable. The pictures on the internet does not do this set justice because it is even more beautiful in person.
Very nice neutral set--we moved into a different home--I wanted a neutral comforter set for Master BR because I haven't yet decided on "accent color" for that area--this one is great and will work with any other color. My first purchase from Overstock and I will definitely continue shopping here!
