We ordered two stools at the same time, but noticed one is slightly different from the other with regard to the foot rest and seat. We did not notice the seat difference for the first week and therefore did not bring it to the attention of the vendor. The foot rest we did call about as soon as they arrived and were sent a replacement part but so far have not been able to dis-assemble. I wish we had sent both back and asked for two new that are identical but you know what they say about hindsight.

Was looking for an adjustable stool with some character and this products fits the build. Great vintage look, very easy to assemble and very sturdy. Great value as well!

We needed an adjustable bar stools for our higher kitchen bar. Our bar is 43 1/2" high and these stools adjust high enough to use at this higher then usual bar. We went to stores that claimed they specialized in "bar stools" and it was hard to find any that would work for a bar this high. They also adjust low enough to use on the standard kitchen counter side. We didn't want to spend over $100 but didn't want something that looked cheep. We are very pleased with the old school look of these stools and the padding and comfort of them is great. They have a wide base with a protective ring that works great on our hardwood floor. The foot rest is sturdy and the stool spins all the way around. It could even be a ride for someone but they might get thrown off. (Not recommended but would be funny) If you like the old style soda fountain type bar stools that never go out of style I would recommend this stool. It's chrome finish and black padded top looks classic and clean. The only reason I didn't give it an excellent rating is it is just a bit wobbly and the hydrochloric piston that is for adjustment wouldn't stay up with a very heavy person.

I love these stools! People ask me all the time where I got them. They are great for kids, were easy to assemble, and have held up well.

I do a lot of up and down work. It is suffecient to do that work.

This stool is exactly what I was looking for. The price was right for me. The size of the seat is quite roomy. It is lightweight - easy to move - but sturdy. Very easy to assemble. I am very happy with it.

These stools are a good choice if you are looking for something lower cost but with good appearance. Assembling the stools was very easy. There are 4 main pieces to put together. The lower portion of the post sits down in the base, the top portion of the post gets screwed to the seat, and then you simply insert the top post into the lower post. The downside to these stools is that they aren't extremely sturdy. I used them for a basement bar and they work great for that type of use.

my husband is a tall man so I was looking for adjustable stools and these were perfect. With the height versitility they can go from a tall man to short grandkid. They were very easy to assembly and I would recommend them to a friend. I shopped hard and for the price and quality, it can't be beat.

This is just the bar stool I was looking for. It matches the other two I already have. It has a contemporary look and is very comfortable. As usual,another quality product from Overstock.com

great chair for the price however one of the handles to adjust the seat has already fallen off. other that that would recommend and buy again.
